Johnsons Moving & Storage of Shreveport

Arrived on time, didn't waste any time. Got everything loaded up and gone in no time. It would help for them to specify before hand what they can and cannot move i.e. items on walls.. (tv's, art. etc) . But if you have your affairs in order like you should prior to moving, they will do the work.

I hate to write a negative review but I called to talk to the owner and didn’t get a call back! Our moving experience wasn’t good! The movers were 3 hours late, complained for the first 2 hours about having to do another move that day when the other crew only had to do one, which explains I guess why they were so late! They were extremely rough and lack knowledge on how to properly move a piece of furniture for instance they would drag a wood piece on the cement instead of lifting it! If a box said fragile they didn’t care they just treated it as rough as everything else! One guy was kicking stuff down the ramp instead of carrying it! The same guy was on the cell phone talking personal at the packing the truck part of the move. They said they were experts at getting things to fit in the truck but never made a plan to pack things smartly! They couldn’t fit on a 26 foot truck what we were able to put on a 20ft truck! So they didn’t get everything! We had 3 big boxes slit down the sides from top to bottom! So they weren’t experts! I’ve moved many many times and that was one of the worst! Anyway based on their behavior I asked if they had an issue with me and they said no, they were just mad at the other crew. Also after going over and over the plan and addresses for the move I was told they were on their way then turns out they had the wrong address! It was a cluster!
