This was the second time using Lawton crew within 5 years, and they didn't disappoint. From my initial conversation with Frank, to the very reasonable quote I got (I shopped around and everyone else has outrageous prices), to the amazing crew they sent to my home (Jamie, Joe, Zues and Lewis), the service is absolutely top notch. The crew was respectful (I never heard a curse word, even though they should have because I have some heavy items!), kind and funny. Even my dog loved them! They never slacked or slowed down, and they finished within reasonable time. I am very very pleased with their service and I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Tom Eric and Eric arrived on time and were very efficient and professional. They went above and beyond getting some huge items in very tight spaces. Everything was well protected and the move went flawlessly. They were polite and really knew their stuff. I would highly recommend their services.

This was my first experience hiring a moving company. I have moved 11 times in the last 10 years and have done the move myself with help from family and friends. My experience began when I first called Lawton to schedule my move. Bill was kind, patient and helpful as we discussed how many rooms and about how many boxes would need to be moved. His questions instilled confidence and calmed me as I was facing the biggest and most challenging move I have ever faced. The morning of the move, I awoke early to continue to prepare for them to arrive - packing up any remaining items and organizing myself. Looking around, I felt an INTENSE wave of overwhelm and panic over the sheer magnitude of all the stuff around me. When the Lawton truck pulled up outside on time, I wiped my tears and greeted them at the door. I was still feeling emotional, and strangely embarrassed by all the stuff I had - and absolutely sure that I was not prepared enough. When Jamie, Joe & Lewis walked in and looked around, they (not knowing that I was just having a total meltdown) proceeded to say “Woah! You did all this by yourself?” “You did a really great job! You’re so organized!” ........ sigh. They couldn’t have known what their words meant to me in that moment. I immediately felt calmer. They assessed my apartment and my stuff for a few minutes - quickly sizing up any of the more challenging pieces and the unique layout of the place - and then they were ready to begin. Then I signed my contract and they got started. Throughout the day, they worked diligently - painstakingly wrapping blankets around my furniture and carefully taping and securing each piece. Jamie was the mastermind who was working in the truck to “Tetris” all of the boxes and furniture into perfect layers, filling out to all edges of the large box truck. It was mesmerizing to watch him. Joe and Lewis did most of the actual moving, but Jamie jumped in when their was a larger piece that needed a third guy. They work like a well-oiled machine. It took about 3.5 hours for them to load the truck and then we were off to the new place. I ordered lunch for everyone and we all took a half-hour break (I was clearly informed that I was not being charged for the break). The unload was, of course, quicker - only taking about 2.5 hours. When all was said and done, they were with me for about 7 hours. While hiring these men to help me move was not an expense I could truly afford, their expertise, kindness, patience, professionalism and gentleness was worth every cent. EVERY. CENT. I cannot say enough about these men and this company. I’m a single mom, and I moved from a 1600sq.ft townhouse 2BR apartment in an old, gorgeous Victorian home with bizarre halls and tiny doorways and narrow stairwells, into a 2BR 2nd Floor 900sq.ft apartment. It was a HUGE and complicated move and a dramatic downsize (much of my stuff was moved directly into the basement for storage). It was emotional and tremendously overwhelming. But these men made me feel SAFE, VALIDATED, and most importantly SUPPORTED. If you’re considering hiring a moving company, look no further. Lawton Moving & Storage is exceptional.

I moved from a basement apartment to a 1st floor apartment. Joe, John & Jesus were fantastic. Polite, & professional & pleasure to work with. Got all my furniture in without problem. Truly amazed me

Had a great moving crew arrive at my house promptly and ready to work. Did not hear one complaint from any of them while moving some very heavy pieces of furniture. All went above and beyond to insure that none of our furniture or the old/new house were damaged . Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them . Great job!
