Little Johns Moving & Storage Customer Reviews

Review:

Our family has used Little John's since the 1980s. They've moved our family, as well as storing our possessions, three times. We've recommended them to family and friends who have used them, as well. I can't say enough about the movers, their care and handling of your items and their care not to damage your home. The 2 brothers (owners) are great and have been a pleasure to deal with each time we've moved.

They were very efficient, and professional, and helpful. They labeled everything, including which drawers items were taken from so unpacking was a breeze. I highly recommend this company!

Best movers in CT. Charge you by the hour + fuel. You cannot beat that price. Courteous and fast. Not one scratch or bump. I have used their service many times. I am going to recommend them to a friend that is moving.

Review:

Terrible experience. I was quoted for 800 dollars... it ended up costing almost 1000. They showed up 2 hours earlier than the window provided, had not secluded my pets, asked them to please wait outside, 1 minutes later a young kid rang the doorbell- to use the bathroom causing my cat to run away. My move mainly consisted of boxes and minimal furniture. However, they damaged 4 pieces of my furniture: 2 dressers, a desk, and a piece of my patio furniture. They also damaged my the walls in both my current home and the home I moved out of. I called them to discuss and the receptionist, Amy was very rude. I called 3 times and sent several emails with no resolution. Every time I called, Amy provided me with a different answer and questioned the damage. After providing several photos of both homes and furniture, Amy told me I would need to hire a lawyer. Nearly 2 months later, several calls and emails later, they offered to come fix the furniture themselves or send me a check for 50 dollars. (I spent more in boxes from them for that.)

They did an excellent job in moving my things in. It was snowing, and it didn't even phase these guys. They were the friendliest group and I would recommend them to anybody.
