If I could give a zero I would. We moved in November of 2018 and have been dealing with a claim ever since. I witnessed several of our glass items, including wedding presents, get dropped and broken during our move. Not only was the glass not swept up at the end of our driveway, but repeated calls, e-mails, and insurance claims have fallen on deaf ears. In addition, half a dozen pieces of furniture were scratched up or smashed due to complete apathy and carelessness. I don’t believe I have ever written a review of a company before, but I don’t want to see anyone else have their possessions destroyed. I furthermore don’t want anyone else to have to explain to their young children, as I have, why part of their furniture is sitting unusable in a corner of their new room. I suppose in writing this, I hope they finally contact me back and try to make things right, but everything I have seen from this company thus far makes me believe they simply don’t care about their customers at all.
BUYER BEWARE! Do not use this company. I had this company out the end of November to move my furniture from my entire first floor to my garage so my hardwood floors could be sanded and refinished. The first thing I’m told is the job was under bid. I later found out this a common practice among moving companies. The guy in charge seemed nervous about moving almost everything. Turns out this was for good reason. They end up breaking a ceiling light and putting deep gouges in my dining room table. I was quoted 1 day for the job. They spent 2 hours moving funiture( only 2 guys) and say they have to come back tomorrow. Sunday higher rate. We pay for day 1. On complete of day 2 we tell the guy that we refuse to pay for Sunday until the damages are paid for. The guy gives us a sob story that they won’t get paid if we don’t give them a check so we pay the guy. Stupid mistake on our part. Almost 2 months later and many emails, texts and excuses we still don’t have a check. I chose this company because I wanted to stay local. Dobt make the same mistake I did. Get a recommendation from family or friends.
Many issues with my move right out of the gate. One of the movers was "sick" and not helping the other guy at all, so I called the company to voice my concerns 20 minutes after they started, but they did nothing about it. Later that day he pukes all over the street and takes a 3 hour nap in the truck. Then, the truck breaks down in my driveway and it took 2 guys over an hour to fix it. So it wasn't a surprise the move took 4 hours longer than what was estimated, and I was still charged over the estimate, even though they took some $ off as if they were doing me a favor. The move would have easily been done in time or before had they sent a fully capable crew and functioning trucks. As it's getting later, it's a Saturday and these guys want to leave, so they start frantically getting stuff off the truck and while moving it into the house (new construction) they damaged at least 3 door frames, 3 punctures to the dry wall, and some other scuff marks throughout the place. Luckily they sent someone to fix the damage, but after all the other issues that happened, I was still over charged as if it was my fault the dude was not working (and sleeping) and the truck broke down. Also, be weary of company's that have their employees post 5 star reviews, William Rock will set up your estimate when you call and he posted a 5 star review on here, could be a huge coincidence but doubtful!
