Awful experience. Movers are lazy, management apathetic, and the scheduler is a bust. I would move myself before I would consider this provider. They show up late, take long breaks and overall have no care for your property. Brian, the manager and "shareholder," is the owners son so you have no recourse to escalate poor customer service. My complaints were met with laughter and an attitude of we will get to you when we get to you. They damage walls, leave items that are supposed to be loaded, and take items that they shouldn't. When I communicated this to Brian, he said well they discussed what was to moved with me...they did not. I had to tell them. The person that I told was replaced, and the knowledge of what was supposed to go went with him. They also tried to hide some of my items so as not to have to move them. Really poorly run company. I highly discourage anyone from using this so called business.

We just moved into a new house and Lytle was hired by the previous owners to move their things. During the move, one of their drivers accidentally ran over the mailbox and destroyed it. We closed on the house and discovered what had happened. Our real estate agent reached out to them and explained the situation. We didn't think there was a chance that we were going to get this fixed because we weren't a client of Lytle's and we had no recourse whatsoever if they chose to ignore us. Instead, William Brantner from Lytle immediately paid a mailbox company to completely fix/weld/paint the mailbox and within 3 days it was reinstalled and better than new. I saw the invoice and it wasn't a cheap fix either. Moving companies are notoriously shady but based on my experience with the guys at Lytle I would be glad to give them my business if we ever move again. Many thanks for handling this for us!

Moving is awful, anyone who has done it can attest to that. I have moved multiple times over the last 10 years, have done it myself and used professionals on different occasions. Lytle was contracted for our move via Atlas, and these guys were fantastic. They handled our stuff well (1 minor furniture damage, things are going to break when you move just a fact) and were on time. Some of the negative reviews I'm seeing here sound like people were either in a rush, or generally inexperienced with professional movers. If you are the type of person that has your details sorted out well in advance, moving will be a breeze. If all your plans are last minute and you're in a hurry, things will most likely not go smoothly. Overall, highly recommended for both packing and moving services.

Review:

My family recently moved from ATL to KC and our move is being handled by Atlas via Lytle's Do not work with this company if you value honesty. This company does not care about customer service at all and is willing to lie to you without apologies. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering the premium price paid of almost $15k. . Issues: -Our Atlas driver arrived at our house and told us that our belongings were going to storage, which is not true. Our belongings were going straight to our new residence. This is an issue because he told us that meant we'd receive our items later than if he'd known it was going to a residence. (Tuesday instead of Monday.) -We were told by Loretta (our Lytle's correspondent, weekends are ONLY used for transport (no packing, loading, unloading), no exceptions. We were on a bit of a time crunch coordinating the move. Not being able to use the weekend for anything other than transport made it very difficult to receive our belongings in a reasonable time period. This is a frustrating policy, but where it becomes an issue is that we were later told that the driver of our truck was, in fact, picking up another family's belongings on SATURDAY! Why were we not offered this? Not only not offered, but told it wasn't possible. (For this reason our delivery was pushed to Wednesday instead of Tuesday.) -Obviously at this point we were very frustrated because our delivery kept getting pushed back. The most frustrating part of it being that our delivery continued to be pushed back because of either lies or incompetency. (Incorrect delivery location & pickup/transport/delivery policy.) This could have been resolved if Loretta and Lytle's cared about customer satisfaction, but it is obvious that they do not. We expressed our frustration and concern, but were offered nothing other than a short and condescending email apologizing for the misunderstanding (insinuating it was our problem for not understanding, rather than their problem for lying or giving false information). -Loretta now only contacts us through email. Has not addressed the issues & has showed no interest in our satisfaction as customers. We sent an email asking for her to clarify the misunderstandings and she did not even respond. In the end we would never use Atlas again if companies like Lytle's are coordinating their moves. Moving is stressful enough without dealing with a company that has no regard for the clients they serve.
