They moved us February 8. Damaged piano. After a reminder call, they sent someone to fix. He didn’t bring proper tools but he tried. When I peeled tape off per his instructions, it didn’t hold. Turns out there’s a big chunk of wood missing from end panel. Texted. Called. Called again. Appointment missed cause his truck broke down. Planned for another day (today). No word. I texted. No response.
We had some initial issues with our shipment with an item that was missing. The GM traveled to MO from Texas and personally led the charge to find our missing item. I think he also made some changes in the local management. Word on the street is he has a military spouse managing things locally now. I think that is an awesome business move for a company that gets a lot of local business from the military. Mr 'JM' thank you for everything and personally delivering my item to my house.
UPDATE: 9 weeks after the initial delivery of our household goods, due to the diligence of a general manager from the parent company, our table was found in the warehouse and delivered to us today. I have bumped up the star rating from 1 to 4 because the search was never stopped, and our table was delivered within a day of finding it. We are very appreciative and thankful to have our treasured family heirloom back in our possession. If I could give zero stars, I would. We are a military family, and Mallory was contracted to take delivery of our household goods by Total Military Move, not by us. Our household goods move was jacked up from packing in Beaverton, OR to delivery in Plato, MO. On our delivery date, Mallory arrived at 3:00 PM with two employees, and by 5:30 PM, I had to move two of my privately owned vehicles into positions where the headlights could be utilized to light up the driveway and walkway for the safety of the now 4 employees tasked with delivering our household goods to us. Did I mention it was freezing? The temperatures after dark started dropping steadily from the low 40's to 25 degrees by the time the movers left our driveway after 10:00 PM. And to top it all off, they didn't have all of our shipment! Our antique dining room table is lost in their warehouse somewhere, and because of the slipshod paperwork done by the multitude of moving agencies and their employees, and our failure to finetooth comb said paperwork, Mallory Moving and Storage will get away with losing a priceless and irreplaceable part of our household. They did at least send two employees back to our home the following day to bring some additional items missed on day one and unpack/assemble or delivery, but they didn't arrive until after 11:30, so it was almost 7:00 PM before they were done. I do need to commend the 4 employees that busted their butts in the dark and frigid night to make the initial delivery in the poorest conditions. Mallory Moving and Storage is lucky to have people like them who will work in what I consider unsafe and hostile environments, with no company oversight or care for their conditions. In conclusion, Mallory Moving and Storage is poorly managed, poorly scheduled and if I was the DOD, I'd ask for my money back.
Pushed out delivery of household goods till a week out. Cancelled because of "bad weather" in Rolla. Called an old friend in rolla. No ice on roads, just a bit cold. Atleast they are coming tomorrow. More to follow on quality of work
Unprofessional and Lazy and on top of that the General manager Melissa was unprofessional and rude about the complaint I made. This company is one of the worst moves I had over the last 13 years. Never again
