the items were held hostage until we forked over more money than the original agreed upon amount that on top of them being 30 minutes late! And wanting to be paid in full before they even let us see the items. That paired with the fact that the driver was threatening my Grandmother who is well into her sixties in front of my three-year-old son yelling .... And then after we went ahead and paid him the extra money because we just figured that it was not worth dealing with the threats . They unloaded several boxes and just put them in random rooms even after we told them that the boxes were clearly labeled and they needed to go somewhere else they told us originally they were just putting stuff in the open areas and after they put the beds up they would put everything where it is supposed to go. Well before they even got all the items inside the house the original man who is a yelling at my grandmother decides to come in and just start screaming at everyone to put everything down and informed all of the workers that they were leaving right this minute and to not continue to put things in the bedrooms or even inside of the house..... I will say that the individual workers that we dealt with were amazing people and were nothing but polite but the boss was a horrible person and I hope to never do business with him again.

Lied to repeatedly. Huge price change. MAP broke the law in not offering insurance. Upon delivery all but 1 major piece of furniture was broken. I was yelled at repeatedly when I voiced my displeasure. I could go on and on. Here’s all you need to know...when I told a manager of all the horrible treatment and that I’d like to get it resolved with them and not go through an attorney, his response “hahaha, go ahead. You think I care if you get an attorney? I’ve been here a long time and I’ll be here way after you. I could care less about what happened to you Or your stuff.” That’s all you need to know.

Worst moving experience EVER

MAP Moving is the one long distance relocation company that actually helped me. The guys worked beyond my expectations. The website is very detailed and their agents are super knowledgeable. The crew was highly skilled, friendly and packed my belongings as if it was their own. The entire experience of working with these guys was awesome, from the first talk with Trish up to the very end. The entire loading as well as the unloading was done in a highly professional manner. I wonder if any of the other moving company would have done it so perfectly. I’m so grateful.

I hired MAP Moving and Storage with the objective of receiving a good service, even though I was hesitant. Since the company offered me the full door to door service at an affordable rate, my relocation to Virginia became quite an easy task for me. All my belongings were packed and loaded in an efficient manner and within few weeks they were transported to my new house. Although I expected breakages of fragile items I was bound for a surprise: all my items were intact. The whole moving process was well planned and so fantastic. It was far above my expectations. Kudos guys!
