I've used many movers over the years, but Martin Moving & Storage stands out for its service and attention to detail. We loved the moving crew, which was polite, efficient, careful and showed special concern for our antiques and paintings. We had the same crew deliver our belongings a few days later where they continued to provide excellent service. When pieces of furniture proved to be too large for a particular location, they moved it to a new location. They took care to arrange boxes and furniture in the storage area so it was all accessible and even offered to return should we need to move things around later. They remained helpful and cheerful throughout both moving days, helping us cope with these two very stressful days. To top it all off, they returned two times to pick up boxes and packing papers, making the burden on us much lighter. And ... we received this 5-Star treatment at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I love the people at Martin Movers, but my family had an unfortunate experience recently when they packed and shipped my mother's belongings to various children and grandchildren. Several shipments arrived smashed - clearly not packed properly. Watch carefully!

Various members of my family and I have used this company on three separate occasions . Two large whole house moves and one smaller apartment. Each and every time the company was consistently very fair in pricing, the two different teams who moved us were timely, very courteous, hard working and careful. The owners were responsive and thoughtful. It is the kind of experience with a local business that made me not fear moving ever again. Both were handled professionally, great care was taken with our belongings, everything moved according to schedule, we are thrilled. I have done business with Martin Moving & Storage since 1978 when it was Casserino Moving Co. Phil and Billy Martin have moved me within CT several times and then to South Carolina & back to CT as well as another move within CT. At all times the exchange between the Owners & me was professional, courteous & genuinely friendly. They have a super crew that accomplishes moves not only with speed but careful attention to detail. Only once did an item of value suffer damage due to poor packaging. The repair and cost was handled in a timely manner by the Company. Items kept in storage for a long duration remain in very good condition. I am happy to recommend Martin Moving & Storage to anyone who might ask me. SOC
