Mees Moving & Storage

I have dear lifelong friends who decided to leave CA for AZ, after living in CA for 75 years. I recommended they contact Mee's for a quote. I have known the Filer family for over 20 years. I am so disappointed that I made the recommendation. The transportation of the items was a cluster from start to finish. My friends were given a window of when their items would arrive and they made plans accordingly. After their furniture did not arrive, but rather came over a week later, my friends spent a significant amount of money, with some assurances from Mee's that they would be reimbursed for expenses due to the inconvenience of not having their items. Once the items finally arrived, a TV was missing. My friends tried to call Matt Filer to get help and were told, "I'm not responsible for the movers." Well then who is?! My friends' contract was with Matt and Mee's. My friends filed a claim to cover their losses and added expenses which totaled over $2500 and they were given a check for $400 after they were told they'd get $900. Now Matt is refusing their phone calls. I am so disappointed. I realize every story has two sides. I have no doubt that Mee's has their side of all of this, but I expected more, especially from someone I've known for over 20 years when I refer you business of people who are like my 2nd parents. From my point of view, it looks as though you took advantage of elderly people. And since you won't take their calls or return a call, what else can I assume?

Made moving across the country easy. They had my whole house boxed and loaded in two days! Very nice crew, my wife and I could not be happier with the way the move went. They gave us a bunch of free used boxes to help us get started and a month of free storage. Thank you Mee’s, a great experience from start to finish!!!!

The professionalism of the workers was a welcomed change from our previous move. My wife and I could not be more impressed by this company. Our last move was a nightmare, never use craigslist to hire movers!! Because of the last move we were pretty nervous about moving again but they handled everything perfectly. The office staff were great and so easy to talk to. They are very friendly people. Like I said before, the crew was unbelievable. They were friendly and worked so well together. Also, my wife had cash in an envelope stashed away for emergencies and she forgot to grab it before the move. While clearing out our room one of the men found the envelope and gave it to the crew leader who then returned it to me. Every dollar was there. I can’t believe how honest they are. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for movers who are honest, friendly and are very diligent workers. My family and I will 100% for sure be using Mee’s again when our new home is finished being built. Fantastic company!!
