Mega Moving Service Inc

I used their service to travel across the country. They quoted me one price over email and at the time of pick up. Then when it came time to deliver my furniture, they doubled the price and refused to give me my property unless I paid the inflated amount. I threatened to take them to court, and Chris (the manager) emailed to say he would take $300 off the inflated price if I would sign a document saying I wouldn't take them to court. I sucked it up and paid the inflated price so I could retain the option of pursuing charges against them. Has anyone had success taking them to court or reporting them to the federal government? If so, please advise, as I would still like to hold them accountable for their actions.

BEWARE!! This company is terrrible!! I called their office multiple times during the move with zero customer service. - Late, charged for 3 men (1 w sprained wrist, one left ill and one person attempting to work) - Damaged and scratched every wood corner on furniture...they didn't wrap anything?!? -claimed full service...used pocket knife screw driver to take apart beds? Then put all screws from all furniture, tv mounts, office wall unit into one plastic cup?!? A puzzle I'll never figure out - Took over 12 hours to move 3bd th. And upon delivery to my new home they refused to put furniture anywhere but the main floor!! - Had to call police because movers tried to leave w my belongings still on truck?! I hope this saves someone from my oredeal

This company is a scam. I booked them, payed my deposit as required and on the day of my move guys showed up completely unprepared. They had one furniture dolly and one hand truck. My items were damaged from not being properly secured and the glass from my table and other items are missing. The company does not answer the phone but I am going to file a complaint with Howard County Courthouse. The movers were unprofessional and even left a box of chicken bones on the loading dock.
