I can't say enough good things about Modern Piano Moving! They moved my father's 6'11' Steinway B grand for the 3rd time recently - this time, involving a complicated transition to a senior living community 600 miles away. A few days after the piano was loaded on the truck, we hit a snag with the community that suddenly changed an easy first-floor load in to a large room, to an elevator move to a 2nd floor apartment. Long story - but I nearly had an anxiety attack over this. I contacted our rep Lisa H. right away and she was very helpful. She requested elevator dimensions which I eventually got from the community, and she assured me that their team on the delivery end was great and would be able to handle it. I was still worried and skeptical, especially 2 days before delivery when the furniture movers said 'there's no way they're getting the piano in that elevator.' Delivery occurred the same day my father arrived which we had not planned on, and already involved a lot of stress. The two delivery guys managed to roll the piano in the elevator with ease and a few inches to spare! We were so relieved. They were very professional, fast and thorough. I want to thank everyone we worked with at Modern Piano for making this aspect of a very stressful transition so easy and professional. My father is thrilled to have his 'baby' with him for this new chapter of life.
