DON'T HIRE THEM!!!!! They came out and gave me an estimate of about $5000 and it ended up costing $7000. I was stuck as I needed to get from MA to Portland OR. They left my house a mess and tracked dirt all through out. They "asked" me to buy their lunch and for a tip at the end of the packing up. The truck took almost 3 weeks to get to my new home. Unbelievable! I only had the items I drove out with. When the items finally arrived, there were table leaves, chairs, pillows, kitchen items missing and broken furniture. I was ASSURED that they would be repaired/replaced. I took photos and sent them in as told. Guess what...................NO RESPONSE. I hope they are out of business and that I helped.

I used this company to move from New Hampshire to Colorado, for around $2000. After the crew had loaded my belongings, they gave me a document to sign stating that, since so many people didn't know what was an appropriate tip, this was to inform me that 15% was the norm. I didn't want to insult them with the $20 per person that I'd planned, so I begged off. Then, a full week before they were supposed to have delivered, they called to tell me they'd be arriving at noon the next day. Luckily I was actually in town by then, and was able to arrange for a storage unit. When they arrived, the driver complained that he would be unable to park next to the unit and thus would be charging me a by-the-foot "long haul" fee to unload, but his dispatcher told him to waive that. Finally, when the unloading was finished, the driver managed to tear the iron gate to the facility completely off its hinges, mangling it, before simply driving off. The crew that loaded, and the crew that unloaded, were subcontractors to Best Movers. As such, I constantly found myself in the middle, with BM passing me off to "the dispatcher." I suspect this arrangement is common to all of these small-time cut-rate movers, and the risk is now obvious. From now on, at least for anything more than in-town moves, I'm going with the Name Brand movers. BM has never acknowledged or explained the early arrival of my belongings, which was certainly the worst part of the experience. It boggles my mind to think what might have become of my possessions had I not been there to handle it.
