All people went out of their way to due the job Right.I’ve used them twice and will not hesitate to call them when needed again.

After receiving a good recommendation second-hand, we contracted the Moving Connection for a large move locally in early August. I thought I was contracting with a local moving company only to find out they are owned by a national group American Moving which was not disclosed at the time of contracting. Initially, the interactions were good, until the actual move. I was impressed by their estimator Brian and also by the 100k per truck coverage for damaged items. Our furniture had numerous nicks and scratches, the wall sustained a hole when a heavy piece of furniture was not stabilized, the hardwood floor had a deep gouge, and a light fixture was broken. While they may have damage coverage, we have found they do not pay, rather they turn the claims over to 'Terry' who is in New Jersey and she will find every reason not to pay the claim or to respond when you have jumped over every barrier to provide what is requested The local people, Brian, John and Ryan do not advocate for resolution either, it seems they disappear once the move is complete. Once an agreed upon settlement amount was reached, we signed their agreements which includes a non disparagement provision. These agreements have been sent to 'Terry' with cc to Brian, John, and Ryan 2 times as they said the agreements were not received initially. Funny, they were sent to the same email addresses as all other correspondence. We have yet to see the money for our damaged furniture and they have now stopped responding. The initial damage was discussed during the move and other damage was identified after they left. The claim was filed 2xs during August and September. They agreed to a settlement in Oct and nothing has been resolved to date. Under no circumstances would we refer or provide a reference for this company.

Hard working movers, managers stayed in close contact prior to the move, and not a single item was damaged.

We had a very large and complicated move from our loft to our new town home. The men who packed us and moved us were simply amazing. They seemed to be tireless and of superhuman strength. Their attitude toward their work and toward us was exemplary. We were so thankful for them and their service. The office personnel, particularly Bryan and John, could not have been more wonderful. We are very grateful to The Moving Connection for all their help!!!
