HORRENDOUS. Here the TL;DR: They'll bill you for X hours, but AT LEAST one of those hours will be their driving time, so you will owe much more money than they quoted. When you inevitably find a much better company because of the above, the $100 down payment is only refunded via check, with no assurance on when you will receive it. Avoid them like it's COVID-19. There's a reason they have 2.4 stars.

I have used Neighbors Moving & Storage twice in the past and have been a long time storage customer as well. Both moving experiences were positive, no real issues to speak of. They have great to deal with on the storage side as well. All my communication with them has been open and honest and they've always been responsive to questions and concerns.

I chose neighbors because they were quick to respond and seemed professional and trust worthy. My moving experience was satisfactory, as the movers worked hard and respected my property and my house. However, I am writing this one star review after being ignored despite reaching out to their customer service representative numerous times. Below is a summary of my poor experience. When I initially got my quote (over the phone) I was assured that the time being charged would not start until the movers arrived at my house. Unfortunately, I did not get this in writing. When I received my invoice it included time the movers spent from picking up their truck and driving to my house. (approximately 2.5 hrs). The movers failed to go to my right address in the morning which contributed about 1 hr to this 2.5 hrs of drive time.the bill When asked to pay the bill I did not want to argue with the driver about their billing time because I figured Neighbors would honor their word and refund me for the added 2.5 hrs of time that was not originally part of the agreement. To date I have not received a call back or explanation as to why they will not refund me the 2.5 hrs or at least the 1 hour that was wasted while their driver went to the incorrect address in the morning. As a result I do not recommend using this company.

They quote you a low price when you first call to secure the deal, then you get a completely different surprise when you get the final bill. Although the movers are very nice, it took them almost 7 hours for a 560 sq ft 1 bed/bath apartment. You can definitely tell they were taking their sweet time. I would not recommend their services.

Absolutely do not recommend. Inexperienced, unprofessional, damaged every piece of furniture. There is about $1000 or more worth of damage. I was rushed and pressured into signing the final papers and did not even get a chance to look at the moved items. Items were even dropped on the ground in the process of moving, e.g. a recliner, damaging the bottom corner as it slide right out of the moving van. Expensive furniture was not wrapped properly as the move commenced with blankets and padding even though there were plenty available in the van to use. They cut corners throughout the entire process. I didn't realize I would have to have monitored their every move. Honestly it is not worth the money. Pay a little more and go with a better outfit.
