this moving company has moved my family and friends countless times. They are reliable, show up on time and work fast. Very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to anyone. They take the stress out of moving!
Dishonest company would NOT recommend
These other reviews are not typical moving experiences from customers that I have seen over the 15 years that I have worked with through Nichols Moving. Professional, courteous, honest, hard working, and caring about customer's furniture is what I have come to expect from Nichols Moving employess. Reputation is what any company values, and a couple (non typical) reviews would turn down any potential customer. Do not expect the same results as these other two people have suggested. Requests to have the other reviews removed have been submitted to GOOGLE for review.
This was posted on Nichols Moving & Storage's Facebook page: "This is the owner of Nichols Moving & Storage, Inc.. After reading some of the posts by Kryptonite Equine Transportation, I feel compelled to respond to these false accusations made against my company. After speaking with the investigating officer and after meeting with him, the driver, and the truck that was in question. There was NO report filed do to the fact we did not hit anyone or thing...including a trailer. There were no marks on our truck and the marks on the trailer did not line up with our truck. The driver denies backing the truck up and by the pictures posted you can plainly see that trailer was ran into from behind and not backed into from the side, were the truck was parked. Where is there for a truck to go if it did back up. There is no other direction it could have gone other than forward. The one (1) eye witness did not see anything. He saw a white box truck leaving the parking lot; that was it. As you can clearly tell our trucks have our name and phone numbers plastered all across them. Not just a simple white box truck as mentioned by the witness. Who by the way did not say it was Nichols, he didn't see a name on the truck. We are a fully insured company carrying the same limits of coverage that you have for your company. There is no problem for us paying for damage for something we are responsible for. Lastly, you talk about poor victims of the flood. We are those victims and now we have been wrongly accused by these people who did not see, nor hear, nor witness anything that they are saying we have done."
Dishonest company- doesn't stand behind what mistakes their employees make. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how you deal with them that makes or break you. Would NEVER use unless you would like damaged items.
