Nilson Van & Storage, North Charleston SC

I've moved ten times in the past twenty years and the move by Nilson Van and Storage was positively the worst. We were missing several boxes and a container of over $400 in silk material and we were not allowed to come to the warehouse to look for them. We paid for new boxes and were instead given boxes recycled many times given by the number of names on the boxes. We had a non-functional 40 inch flat screen TV substituted for a new Samsung Smart TV. Our lawyer, who was brought in to try and give us some relief was treated rudely. My recommendation to anyone would be to stay away from NIlson. The manifest with all the boxes listed was useless because there were no stickers on the boxes when they arrived at the destination. In fact, we had a box from someone else's shipment, which tells me our boxes were unloaded then reloaded. We were also missing the glass lens from a one of a kind $700 dining room chandelier. Gone like the rest of our missing boxes.

Great people, on time , on budget. A really great experience.

I moved from Switzerland to Wisconsin, Nilson was nice enough to deliver my pod FOR FREE from Chicago to me (4 hrs away) because they were coming to this area anyway. I packed the boxes in Switz and their partner co packed things into a homemade 'box'. Everything was packed nice and tight and not ONE thing was damaged. Would recommend them at least from my experience.
