Horrible experience. I wouldn't even have given one star, but you cannot post the review without it. Do NOT trust the quote you are given. I wish I had read other reviews that said the same prior to booking this company for my move. The amount that I was charged was MORE THAN DOUBLE what I was quoted. I was moving from a 1000 square foot apartment with an elevator to a townhouse only 5 miles away. My estimate was for 3 movers, 4 hours, and packing materials. I moved a lot of stuff myself prior to that day so my inventory was significantly less than what I had listed. But, I was still charged an extra $200 for packing materials, charged for the use of the elevator (which was never disclosed to me), charged for stairs (the movers chose to use the main entrance to the lobby which had 3 stairs instead of the ramped entrance which I told them to use where there were NO stairs), and charged an extra 1.5 hours in travel time because they "didn't realize that they would dispatch from a further location". I had gone over the quote with Evelyn in the office several times asking about all undisclosed costs and she continuously assured me that the as long as there was no increase in my inventory, the estimate should be all inclusive with no surprises. I had advised her that I was moving from a second floor apartment but there was an elevator and she still did not disclose the elevator charge and then denied having that conversation when I questioned her about the charge. When I contacted Evelyn before paying the bill, all she kept saying was "there's nothing I can do" but then she did offer to deduct a whopping $35 from the total and when I was still unhappy, she called the foreman and told him not to take the $35 off and to charge the total amount. I would absolutely NEVER recommend this company, and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to get this complaint on record.

Worst experience ever. Do not fall for their cheap quotes. I spoke to this lady called Evelyn , she was extremely sweet before i finalized on the quote. She was very accommodating , she reduced the quote for me and also confirmed that packing material was totally my option. She confirmed that my final quote would be $225. The day the movers arrived , they refused to put any of my stuff in the truck until they were packed. They gave me a new Quote of $600, that too for a 8 Mile Move !! The charged me for Tolls and Packing Material. When i called Evelyn she blatantly refused to agree on anything we discussed. She was rude and useless. She said she could cancel the move if required. That is the best she could offer. Never ever would I do any kind of business with her. Wish I had seen other reviews earlier.

I used Northside Moving to move my furniture from storage in my new apartment which was on a third floor walk up, I was beyond satisfied!!! The guys moved my things with such delicacy and had no damages. They were extremely professional and took such good care of my belongings. Thank you so much!!!

Absolutely amazed with how fast my move was!!!!! They had helped me move in under 4 hours and all of my all of my furniture was safely moved with no damages!!! Highly recommend.

Initially the lady who gave me the quote was nice but when the movers arrived on moving day, the additional cost was$900 more!!!and they couldn't take all of my things. I wound up with two car loads to move myself. Never again.
