Avoid this company at all costs. The movers that came to pack my things did not pack them well or use the correct materials. They had a three day window for pick up, did not meet it and were 4 hours late when they did come. My stuff was delivered late. The company had horrible customer service between pick up and drop off. They did not return phone calls or answer phone calls several times. At drop off they did not get weight tickets like I requested/needed. At drop off the movers were not careful carrying things into the house they walked on the carpet without wiping or taking off their shoes. Some things were missing and they did not care and said it wasn't their fault. Upon inspection of my goods several things were damaged. I had several couch legs ripped off the couch and did not come in the move. Do not use this company. It is not worth the thousands you will spend.

Items were lost, things arrived late, the movers made me feel wildly uncomfortable and one of the managers hung up on me when I was trying to work things out. Would give zero stars if possible - please do not use this company!!!!! ALL GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE. Please read the one star experiences. 1. I was wildly misled about when my items were going to be arriving for my move in order to have me pay for a guaranteed, which was not met. So I paid an extra $400 for a service I did not receive and they only refunded me $50 of it, no matter who I talked to. Items arrived a week after they said they would, so I was living with almost no clothes and items during that time, as I was moving across the country. 2. Items were supposed to be picked up around lunchtime and they did not arrive until 10PM when it was completely dark out. When picking up my items, the movers inappropriately asked me about my dating life, who I lived with, and made me very nervous and uncomfortable. Did I mention it was almost midnight at this point???? I was planning my exit to be safe should anything bad have happened, which should not have been the case. For this trouble, I was given an apology and $50. Gee, thanks. 3. Two of my large items were lost, and one of them had tremendous sentimental value. When trying to fill out a claim for these items, the process was so complicated and confusing that I could not figure out how to complete this. Unfortunately the deadline passed so I will not be getting anything in replacement of a very large mirror and piece of wall art that were misplaced my their neglect. 4. When trying to coordinate my new delivery date, because they were late, I expressed frustration of course but in a professional way. The MANAGER responded to this by hanging up on me while I was basically in tears. She was completely unsympathetic to everything that had happened to me and hardly apologized for hanging up on me while I was again, basically in tears. 5. I was also mislead about the price, and had additional fees the entire way. Thought I was going to be paying about $800 less than I actually did, including the meek $100 that was given back to me. Please don't ever use this company. They should not be in business. I do not have one good thing to say about my experience, it truly made my cross-country move so much more difficult than it ever needed to be.

This company provided my wife and I with the worst move in my life. We travel a lot, so we are not new at this (with experience, besides the US, in Spain, France, Brazil, Italy...). I would recommend to avoid this company, or at least not trust in anything they say and double check everything, little of what they say is true. They started by promising a move on Saturday, but movers never showed up. When I called they said it was a mistake, so I rescheduled for Tuesday. I canceled my work appointments to be available at 1pm (in our building you needed to be out by 5pm). They arrived at 4.30pm. Throughout the long wait, I of course contacted them and they kept saying "they will be there in 20 min". Of course, that was a lie. The drivers were very nice (they had little information from the "management" of what was going on), we managed to do everything before 9pm. To my surprise, we received a text the next day "we forgot to charge 100 dollars for boxes", boxes that of course we never received. When I called to clarify that, they said to me "you need to prove that you did not receive the boxes, so I think this conversation is going nowhere". So the burden of proof is on you after you contract, we were fortunate they did not decide to charge 500 dollar. I was not very confident from the beginning because any other company I called to was not available for short notice and they were. Now I know there was a reason for that. I recommend you plan your move with some time to avoid this company.

I used One way Van line for a move Atlanta back to California. I paid $3000 for my move. The Van line lost my bed frame which cost $500. On the day there were moving my things in i noticed the driver bringing up a bed frame that was not mine. I kindly told him that wasn't my bed frame. I them showed him what my bed frame looked like and he said "o". We called the owner of the Company which is name was Roam and he said pay the driver and I will take care of it on Monday because I'm not in the office. I have tried to reach out to him, but his staff employee Deena would not give me is email or phone number to contact him I have filled out of the documents asked and sent them in. This place does not tell you up front what all the cost are,When you sign make sure you sign and read because they want to pay $60 cent a pond. Everything is billed by cubic centimeter and they do not tell you that. if you have stairs, they charge $75 dollars a stair. The was professional to take my $3000 dollars but not professional enough to call me back to talk abut the missing bed frame. It has been 5 months and no one from One Way Van Lines has called to update me on nothings. I would not use the service. Trust worthy is not the company mission statement.

This is the first time we hired ONE WAY VAN LINES to moved our 3-Bedroom belongings from Ohio to Georgia in March 2019. The crew left us with surprises! They were very fast and professional!!! Packed everything in just about 3.5 hours with the best skills. Our items were well-handled till the last minute delivery. These guys are highly recommended!!!
