Perfect Pak Company

WORST COMPANY EVER!!! STAY AWAY! If I could give them ZERO stars I would. The only way they are still in business is because for some reason the military still uses them for military moves. When I first read the reviews I wanted a new company, but given our timeline I was unable to change. This is where anxiety started to kick in. We moved from Hawaii to San Diego. For what should'v been a smooth process was nothing short of a horrible experience. To start with, we are just a couple, no kids, and not a lot of items. This should've only been maybe half of a day job, yet turn into a full day of HELL! Three guys showed up to start packing items around 8am. They were on a roll and pretty much packed everything aside from the bigger items in boxes by 11am, and then started slowing down. This is when my husband and I looked at each other and started helping take apart our futon. Mind you, we should NEVER feel obligated to help with any part of it, we go through enough with having to move place to place as it is. 2:00/3:00pm came around and we started asking when they were going to start packing the boxes into the bins on the truck. They took a few breaks by now and frustration started to arise. My husband and I could've packed and moved everything a lot faster than they were moving. Another team showed up about an hour later around 4:30ish (about 4 more guys). This is when it got even worse. They started throwing boxes and items to load banging them around and fitting them into places like tetris that they shouldn't have fit in. While nailing the large bins shut with nails some of the boards didn't even properly fit. When they showed up for delivery, one moving bin roof was caved in from water damage. I am surprised more item weren't lost or damaged. They almost lost our kayak and all of our diving gear in the warehouse and it wasn't delivered for another week....they are lucky they found it! Along with that mess, our paper shredder was damaged and no longer works. My tv stand/shelving unit is ruined with scratches and black scuff marks everywhere. Our bbq coil was also ruined and exposed in a few areas so we are scared to even use it creating a fire hazard.For some reason they decided to take all our fins off of all our boards (surfboards and stand up paddle board) and now are nowhere to be found making them unusable. The stand up paddle board sock is also torn and ruined because they did not have a box big snout for the kayak and stand up paddle, so those were just hanging on the side until the got to the warehouse to make a box for it. This company is a joke and that is only a little of the frustration we felt watching them pack and load our items. Who knows what else they damage or took that we cannot find. I am out of energy and hope. This is why we can't have nice things...because of careless movers like this exact company. SOOOOOO SHADY!!!! SAVE YOURSELF AND IF POSSIBLE STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!

I’ve gone through three different companies. And this is by far THE WORSE moving company. Not only that, this company is contracted through the Air Force for their military moves. I’ve opened countless boxes that are just items thrown in. We have scratched, broken and gouged items. They even took a box labeled as items that aren’t shippable due to being liquid. Well, I opened the box and there was COUNTLESS items that could have been shipped. Instead, we had to pay 80 dollars out of pocket to ship it overseas. We called and complained about the box being left behind and mislabeled. We were told they couldn’t and wouldn’t come back to get it. We even offered to come drop it off. This place is horrible, unprofessional and honestly shouldn’t still be a running company.

I have moved over seven times in the past ten years using a different moving company each time and this was by far the WORST experience I have ever had. The packing job was horrible and we had a lot of stuff get broken. There were several items missing as well. The claims process was the worst with this company. Although we provided an ample amount of proof that these items were broken and lost or stolen during the move, they only provided compensation for a small amount of the items. I greatly regret letting this company take care of my move and will never use them again.

Worst company ever. They will keep pushing you back on getting your furniture. We were suspose to get our furniture weeks ago and still there telling us next week.

I highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. They moved my husband and mines household goods for a military move and numerous items were damaged during the claim. Our furniture was less than a year old when moved as we were recently married and had minor scratches prior to Perfect Pak moving our household goods. However, the movers marked that the top, sides and bottom of pretty much ALL of our items were "scratched and rubbed" and now the company is using this as an excuse to not pay us for the damages that occurred during the move even though the damages are dents, chips, gouges and holes( in one of our dressers) on the corners and edges and were not listed as pre existing damage. If you are military, do yourself a favor and request a different company. If you are civilian I highly recommend hiring someone else!
