“Platinum Van Lines” and “Excalibur Moving Group” for STEALING my 50” Panasonic Viera Smart Television worth $425 and for damaging my BRAND NEW “Kawasaki Ninja 300” motorcycle along with my other household items, they are fraudsters running a scam by extorting money and stealing items from people claiming themselves to be movers. The Excalibur Moving Group are brokers who falsely claim themselves to be movers, their business is to trap people convincing them they are the actual movers but finally outsourced our moving to another set of THUGHS without informing me and without my consent who also claims to be movers in my case it was “The Platinum Van Lines” who operates from Dallas, TX. I was cheated by Excalibur Moving Group as they outsourced my move to "Platinum Van Lines" from Lewisville, TX to Charlotte, NC.I was told by Excalibur Moving Group they use their own truck for moving but I was surprised to see these Platinum Van Lines came on a Budget Rental Truck to pick up my items on 03/01/2018 on asking Platinum people they told Excalibur outsourced them for my move, left with no choice I had to nod for moving my items as next day I had to travel to Charlotte.I had EX 300 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle to be shipped as a Bulky Item.Platinum Van Lines told me they will take my motorcycle to warehouse and then will Wooden Crate it for Safety before loading it into big truck I kept repeatedly telling them cost of the motorcycle is worth $6000 and they need to be very careful while shipping it they convinced me saying once they reach warehouse they will Wooden Crate by motorcycle.Excalibur Moving Group gave me a Binding Not to Exceed cost of $1944 for all my inventory, Platinum Van Lines after picking my items told it over weighs by 870 pounds and I need to pay additional amount of $382 at delivery I told them its a Binding Not to Exceed price as I didn't add a single additional item to my inventory.Platinum Van Lines didn't give a ear to what I said and told I have to pay the additional amount at delivery. I was assured my items will be delivered to me in 14 days with repeated follow ups they delivered my items after 4 weeks on 03/25/2018 again on Budget Rental Truck. On delivery they insisted me to pay $852 first and then they will begin unloading my items left with no option I paid them all remaining amount. I noticed my motorcycle was dumped into the truck without any Wooden Crate and my motorcycle was completely broken and also stole my TV.As initially promised by “Platinum Van Lines” my items will be delivered at Charlotte within 2 weeks, but they delayed in delivering my items for 1 month after which my items were finally delivered by “Platinum Van Lines” again in the same Budget Rental Truck, the drivers insisted me to pay remaining amount first I said I want to see my items on which they told I would be able to see my items only if I pay remaining amount of $852 after which they will start unloading my items so being helpless I paid them the FULL remaining amount and they started unloading my items I was shocked to see my motorcycle was not WOODEN CRATED it was just dumped into the truck along with my other items and my motorcycle was completely broken which is worth $6000, later on I saw my 50” Panasonic Viera Television worth $425 was missing it was stolen by “Platinum Van Lines” not to mention all my other household items also was damaged completely. I tried reaching out to Gabriel and Oscar from “Platinum Van Lines” to ask about my 50” Television he never picked up my phone later he BLOCKED my and my wife’s phone number left with no point of contact and no idea how to get hold of these thieves to get my Television back.As a last hope tried calling “Excalibur Moving Group” to share my grievances about my stolen television but ended up talking to some rude and merciless people.
Welcome to my nightmare. I hired a moving company who then hired Platinum Van Lines. I met Oscar Hernandez, the owner in Webster, Texas. He was suppose to transport my belongings to Aurora, CO. It's now April 26th. I already know my belongings have been stolen. They found checks I had in a box and forged my signature and then drained my bank account!! DO NOT HIRE these thieves! I will do everything in my power to take them out of business and prosecute them. There are 11 other customers effected by Oscar Hernandez and that's just who hired Excalibur Moving Group. This is Grand Larsony And I'm going to make sure they are prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Platinum Van Lines was contracted through Superstar Van Lines to pick up my furniture on February 19, 2018 and deliver it to Castle Rock, Colorado. It is now April 17, 2018. The furniture has still not been delivered. I have called, emailed, and texted multiple times and I have received no response. Until I receive some sort of information I will consider my furniture as stolen. All people considering hiring a moving company, please do your research and don't take their word about being an A rated company. Take pictures of all merchandise, take pictures of Driver's License of all people picking up your merchandise, and lastly take a picture of the truck with the license plate. Still not sure you will get your merchandise, but at least you will have some recourse it you decide to file a police report. I had to click one star to enable me to post, but they don't deserve any stars.
I had the unfortunate experience of working with this company, not by my choice when I moved from Philadelphia to Miami. I had chosen to work with Economy Van Lines received the quote and made the final deal with this company and only when the movers showed up on my door step did I come to find out it had been contracted out to Platinum Van Lines. The movers did not show up at the date or time that they had called and said they would which set my trip across country back by a day. I had placed my items in storage for several months with them and when it was time to get my things out of storage and set up the time with the company to have my items delivered, I spoke with the company to ask how I go about this process. I sent an email as they requested with the updated address and the date starting when I could receive my items specifically stating that it needed to be on a monday-friday basis due to the building requirements where I was living. I received an email back stating it would be 7-10 days from the date which I said I was able to receive the items that they would be delivered. I received a call 2 days prior for the delivery time which would be on a weekend. I spoke with the person stating that I could not receive the items on a weekend as stated in my original email. The person changed the date as it was an over site on their part. The day to deliver comes and the driver can't make it within the time frame they gave me they would come and it would have to be at a later time. as my building would not allow me to have deliveries at that time, I had to call the company and they said they would reschedule. The day of the actual delivery comes and they tell me that I owe them $350 more than original because they will have to bring a shuttle truck to deliver my stuff since I required a specific date and that my location does not accept semi-trucks. needless to say I was on the phone with their dispatch office several times and my building several times to tell them that I could accept a semi truck, but they refused to bring one stating that the streets were not big enough (although I had seen semi trucks drop other residents in my building stuff off) Platinum Van Lines refused to bring a semi and charged me for the shuttle truck or offered that I could come and pick my stuff up an hour away at their storage place. This would then require me to rent a truck to go pick up my stuff and bring my stuff back and move everything in my place by myself. Why would I go to their storage place if I paid to have the stuff delivered. They just scammed the system to gain more money. long story short. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
