My wife and I recently hired Precision Movers to move us out of our top floor apartment in Somerville into our new house in the suburbs. We were extremely pleased with our experience. The whole process was extremely easy and efficient for us, starting with booking the move. On the day of, they arrived on time. First was a consultation of what was going/staying, then it was right into action. They cleared out the apartment in just about two hours, and came back in to double check that they had gotten everything. Then it was right off to the new house. Moving in took even less time and they coordinated with my wife where everything should go. Polite, courteous and highly professional moving crew. No breakage, scratches or even dents on the boxes. We were moving from two places into one. The movers were timely and communicated with us the whole time about what they were going to do. They were experts when it came to moving/putting together our furniture. They were very quick - we were done with all three places in about 3 hours, coming in under their estimate. I would definitely use them again!

These guys are incredibly fast and extremely careful. We hired three guys from Precision to move our belongings from a rental truck to our sixth floor apartment. Our elevator has been out of service, so we knew we would need the help. After two or three exhausting trips on our own, we decided to hunker down and wait for the movers to arrive. They were scheduled to arrive between 12p and 3p, but they arrived at 11:45a and started immediately. I could not believe how fast they worked, and they did not take a break until the job was finished. We had several heavy pieces and boxes, but they moved them up all 102 stairs with ease. Not a single piece was damaged or even scratched. Even our cheap IKEA furniture made it all the way up issue-free. They were done with our entire move in two and a half hours; it would have taken us days. I cannot speak highly enough of the work they did, and there is no question in my mind that I will hire them again when we move out of our current apartment. If you're on the fence about hiring these guys, you should absolutely do it. You will not be sorry.
