Professional Moving & Storage, Richmond VA

Awful experience, and worst of all, were not willing to fix mistakes. Did not complete move. Horrible customer service. Did not fulfill obligation (out of 3 movers, 2 did NOTHING at destination because they had to watch their cars so they didn't get a ticket). I ended up paying an extra $1000 to fix broken item/ replace items that were lost...and I paid extra for the insurance!

Do not use this company!!!!! I cannot even begin to start with how unprofessional and awfuly entire experience was with this company. First of all, they didn't even pack the things they were supposed to (who "forgets" to pack a closet?) and they left items in the street because they were improperly packed. They broke not just one, but both beds and lost pieces critical to parts of furniture. I paid in excess of $500 to fix thier errors. Oh, and the delivery took 8+ hours because two of the guys had to watch thier cars so they didn't get ticketed. Awful awful. Literally everyone I spoke to was incompetent and/or just plain rude.

I cannot say enough good things about Professional Moving and Storage. Having moved several times in recent years, I have a solid basis of comparison, and this company comes out on top. We were forced to put our goods into storage during a relocation, and we hired Professional Moving and Storage to move our goods from the storage unit to our new home. While the quality of work was good overall, what impressed me the most was the level of support and the personal involvement of Kathy in the office and Andre on site. Any moving company large enough to handle a whole, large house move typically has a very cookie-cutter approach, starting with producing the initial quote. Andre was just the opposite. Sized up the situation quickly, gave me a flat price quote, and, most importantly, came up with creative ideas for making the move happen much more efficiently than the other bidders could. I hope not to have to move again any time soon, but I would not hesitate to hire Professional Movers if the situation arises and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Kathy Koren is the Best. She walked me through my entire relocation from beginning to end. Guys padded everything. Protected residence very professional. In all my years of moving this was the best !!!! Thanks North Americans Profesional Movers..

These guys are great. They moved me to California and was great. Kathy was a charm. GREAT JOB
