Progressive Relocation

TERRIBLE!!! SICKENED BY THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE! They charged almost DOUBLE (should have known better when they demanded payment in money orders) and when trying to get things that they OBVIOUSLY STOLE Couldn't get ANY compensation! Whenever I try to call them or Email them... no response. Phone numbers out of service. I'm a military wife and have moved several times. This WAS the WORST!!!!

We were initially quoted us 3k to move from a house located in one state to another. When these movers came not only was the person that moved our stuff rude but we were re-quoted for 3 times the amount... We ended up having to pay a little over 10k and we had no other option as we needed to be out of the residence the next day. I understand if the quote was off by a few thousand but honestly off by more than 3 times the amount.... That is ridiculous. On top of that these movers were took over 8 hours packing everything and putting it into the truck, because they were taking several smoke breaks lunch breaks and much more. Even if all of that was forgivable the part that upset us the most is when our things arrived at the destination which was stated would take 7 days initially and ended up not leaving the initial destination till a month passed and got to the actual destination in 3 days.... Anyways, once we got our stuff, things we explicitly didn't want broken were absolutely destroyed!!! We had an office desk that cost over 400 dollars which was supposed to be completely dismantled and reassembled broken which we have to replace, a chair that was ripped which should not have happened and several other things that I would name but won't matter.. At the end of the day not only was the quote misquoted but on top of that we have to spend more money close to another 3k or so to replace everything that was broken... If i could give this company a zero star I would!!! And if you are considering this company I strongly advise you reconsider or risk be a victim like us!

Awful I will never use a moving company again. I called and complained with detail on everything that occurred - they never called me back. The movers were incredibly rude and after a cursory look at our stuff announced they would have to charge us TWICE the amount Progressive Relocation Systems quoted us . $4700! for an 800 sq ft apartment that we downsized our furniture to try to save money. The movers then announced we had to be at our destination within 2 days (the company said it would take 7-10 days) so we had to cancel all our plans and hightail it from NC to NH after finishing up with our complex. Oh and they didn't arrive until 8pm to pack us up. We stayed with a friend in WV and woke up at 2am to arrive at the time they demanded we be there. We get to our new place by 2pm and they inform us THEY HAVEN'T LEFT NJ YET. They did get there until 5 hours later. They were so rude the first time I went to a friend's house to avoid them so my husband could deal with them without me. I am too nice and they already had coerced a $300 tip from me the first time I saw them. Then they refused to bring our stuff in unless we paid them another $150 for the 'long haul' until my friend busted out her tape measure. We provided them adequate light and made sure the path was sanded and shoveled. They wanted to know where I was so they could get the $150. IT was an absolute nightmare from start to finish and the company has done NOTHING. I felt like a complete inconvenience to THEM - as the customer. We didn't have $4700 to just throw around. All the blame was put on me for not calling the company during the whole process. I didn't call because we needed to move and the movers were so freaking pushy and rude. Please if you need to move across country don't use them and save yourself the stress.

**********BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE************* My parents (newly retired) used this company to move from South Florida to the mountains of GA! They quoted a reasonable price and triple charged once items were loaded into the truck. Said they’d be there in the morning to pack up, didn’t show up til 3 in the afternoon, leaving their home at midnight day of closing on their old house! Once they moved into their new home, they quit answering calls or returning them. Took several weeks to get their belongings and once they did most of it was shattered! They spent $15000 on a move where most of their belongings were thrown into boxes unwrapped, unprotected, basically like trash. Unpacking mirrors are broken, furniture broken, pots and pans thrown in boxes without a care in the world. After all of this, no one willing to take a claim, no answer to several messages etc. BEWARE!!!!! Do not use this company!!!! Have plenty of photos if the owner would like to comment on my review saying “simply not true”. Welcome an email so that my parents can make a rightful complaint/grievance against your company, and hopefully you could make this right. Doubtful that will happen. The below is an example of “white glove packing”.

I needed to move my office a friend of mine recommended Progressive relocations systems movers. They came to the office and helped us pack up the big items to make sure they would be properly protected in transit.They gave us a very good price for this service and delivered as promise. Everything arrived in good shape nothing broken nor missing. The people there were very nice and my contact was keeping me appraised as everything was moving. No mess no fuss. I truly enjoyed working with them.
