I worked with these guys to relocate what was basically my entire life to Florida. I had a decent amount of furniture, not a ton, but most of it was my mother's, so beautiful or not, it is still sentimental. I had heard so many horror stories of moving, I really wanted to do it myself, but not 1500 miles!! Turns out they did it not only for less than U-haul, but I literally didn't have to worry about a thing!! Thank you for your professionalism and personal attention to my move!

I hired Rodeway Relocation in June of 2019. I signed a contract, they took my deposit & money upon pickup, and then stopped all contact with me. I emailed them constantly, requesting an update on delivery. I left many voicemails, which went unanswered. If I did manage to get a hold of the owner of Rodeway who goes by the name of Sam Suleiman, by using a phone number with a different area code; I would get hung up on. In August of 2019, after months of unanswered emails and calls, I get an email from Sam stating that Rodeway Relocation is no longer qualified to do interstate moves. In the email, he gave me inaccurate information about where my items were located; and the hunt went on to locate everything. I filed multiple reports with the Florida Police, Consumer Fraud Division in Florida, the Attorney General's Office, and more. Rodeway has many other complaints with the FMCSA and Florida Police; I was not the only one who was a victim. This was the most anxiety-inducing four months of my life. I was constantly sick, and terrified, that I lost everything, and I mean everything, I own. Memories that you cannot replace. To THINK, that you are hiring a reputable small business company, and that you're doing everything right, and paying good money, to then be scammed, is horrifying. The stress on my mother, in her already poor health, was heartbreaking. She was left without her wheelchair and medical equipment for four months. I have lost thousands of dollars to date trying to resolve this. I was never offered a refund after they took my money and ran. I was never offered an apology. They didn't even have enough wherewithal to give me an accurate location of my items. Yet, they have the time to review their own company. Sam gave Rodeway 5 starts on here. And, John Murphy, also gave the company 3 stars below. He was my initial sales agent with Rodeway, who has since left the company. In October of 2019, I was able to track down my items. They were in a storage unit in Jersey City (230 miles away from my delivery address). It turns out, the unit had defaulted on payment since May of 2019 and was set to go to auction. I was forced to pay the several months of back-due payment to retrieve my items, and then move them hundreds of miles back to where they should have been sent in the first place. If you google Florida moving scams, this company checks every checkbox for warning signs to look out for. They are not approved with the BBB. Their website states that they are "RELIABLE East Coast Movers," when according to their 'email,' they are not allowed to be doing out of state moves, outside of Florida. Their insurance coverage lapsed as well per my FMCSA representative. There is no one word that can describe how distressing this entire experience has been. Run, run far away from Sam and this scam of a business. See attached email.
