Review:

They provided a written binding estimate then after loading the truck increased the price by 100% and told me they wouldn't deliver until I paid cash. After that they "lost" at least 1 dozen boxes and caused significant damage to the furniture. They were also 3 days late PM the delivery and never returned calls or acknowledged my insurance claim. I would recommend a lawsuit before I recommend them

MOVING? BEWARE! I'm surprise they are still in business and that they are on the BBB. Michael, the owner, is a "sweet talker" but once your move is delivered and they got your money, you'll never get an answer or refund from their insurance company for items lost and/or damaged. I have followed up for months now since my move in March form NJ to FL, I submitted a claim in April for a lost bin of Mary Kay items that was not delivered the day of the move and then a few broken items that had not only monetary value but priceless sentimental value, I requested the name of the insurance company and the contact person handling the claim but they've always given me the run around. I finally asked what's the mystery on giving me the name of the insurance company so I can contact them directly but to no avail. I heard stories about moving companies but I never thought it could happen to me. TV Reporters should get on it and more legislation from our representatives to protect the consumer from moving companies.

Terrible experience! My goods were picked up but crew did not give me the requisite paperwork showing that the items are now in their possession. There was a big difference in the estimate provided and the amount charged. This worked out to be a difference of $1000. Note that I did provide an itemized list of all of my items to be shipped to get the estimate. The moving representative I dealt with at the office was not responsive to my numerous requests to get a estimated delivery date for the shipment although they had my items in their possession for over 3 weeks. On delivery of my items, many of my boxes where incorrectly tagged as going to other customers. I had to literally get into the back of their truck to identify those boxes/items that belong to me but were incorrectly tagged. Advice to this company would be to: 1. Get your estimates right - a big difference of $1000 from what you quote to what you charge is unacceptable. 2. Modernize your shipments by tagging them with electronically printed tags so that movement of these items can be easily tracked using handheld scanners. 3. Get competent staff to respond to customer questions

Run. Only use if you want to make a long distance move an even bigger nightmare. The issues started early on: - They misquoted the price and held the incorrect outstanding balance upon delivery, despite multiple points of contact assuring me it had been corrected. - They (attempted to) charge $100 dollars for shipping items that they didn’t even bring. - The shipment arrived a week later than It was supposed to (on my second day of a new job). - When the shipment arrived, every piece of furniture I shipped was either partially or fully missing. (How is this possible? Good question.) - The moving truck was manned by what appeared to be minors (I wish I were joking). - Boxes were crumbled / crushed / torn apart. - Several of my boxes were mislabeled, and the only reason I received them was because I demanded to search the truck myself. I literally couldn’t have dreamt up a more frustrating moving experience if you paid me. Use literally anyone else.

If there was negative stars for rating, I would give them that! I was looking to do a partial move from New York to North Carolina. The website has a generic selection of items in order to calculate your cubic feet, but the items were not the same sizes as what I had. I had x-large boxes from home depot which were larger than anything I could select on their page, so instead I created a spreadsheet with all of my items and sent the measurements of each (plastic bins were measured by me) to David who e-mailed me the quote. This list included mostly boxes and plastic bins but there were other items, some different or unusual to include a machine that my father uses for jewelry about (18-20 cu.ft). This machine weighs 300 lbs. which was explained to David over the phone when he asked me what a jewelry roller was. David sent me a contract with a quoted price of $3 p/Cu.ft for 458 Cu.ft which was a total of $ 1374. After fuel surcharge and a discount the new estimate was $1367 (not including taxes). The day of the move I was asked to sign all these contract documents to include one waving my right to an "In home estimate" which wasn't offered to me when I spoke to David. I annotated each item that went into the moving truck as they packed it, to include my dad's jewelry roller which was left at the end of the truck because it was so heavy and the mover stated he was strapping it right there because it is heavy. Before all of my items were loaded the mover stated that I already had 770 cu.ft loaded, at that point I decided to not load the larger items such as the riding mover, push mower, and snow blower. My new total was now $2813.96, more than double the "quoted" amount. The mover explained that each metal strip on the inside of the truck is equal to 220 cu.ft, however items aren't even packed to the top but they still count it as used. I did add more boxes and bins than I originally sent on my spreadsheet but then also took off the largest items which was equivalent if not less. After the truck left I recalculated all the items that were loaded using the measurements and came to a total of 300 cu.ft, even if I was off by a little bit taking into consideration that some items were wrapped with blankets (adding some cu.ft) it would never equal 770 cu.ft. The next day I tried to resolve the matter by calling David, who told me he would conference call me by noon the following day but I didn't get a phone call. I had to reach out to David at 4:30pm and was told via text that he was waiting on the storage manager to call him back. I wasn't informed why I was waiting on the storage manager but was hoping that they were re-calculating the cubic feet of my items. This was not the case, my shipment was moved from the truck it was originally loaded into another one but it was not re-measured for accuracy. Once again, the next day I was supposed to receive a phone call from a Manager no later than 10:30 am, but I didn't. I called the company at 10:55am and spoke to the manager, Michael, who told me that I had to account for 200 cu.ft for the jewelry roller since it was “fragile” and couldn't have items around or on top of it. This was never mentioned on the day of the loading or else I would have not shipped it. Also, the roller is heavy and made of metal, far from fragile, anything could have been packed around or on top of it. Michael also informed me that I had added a lot of items and it was more cubic feet, but the amount of cubic feet I removed was larger than what I added, so this would never have given me 770 cu.ft total. Michael gave me a small credit against the balance due at delivery but it is nowhere near what they are overcharging me. I was fraudulently charged, robbed even, due to the cu.ft they said I had, and was denied the opportunity to have it re-calculated. To add insult to injury, 11 display cases (wrapped by the company) and 2 plastic bins were damaged in the move. You are better off renting a truck and paying someone to drive it for you, you will fit more and it will cost you much less.
