DON’T DO IT! The pick up went well. Unfortunately, the delivery did not go well at all. My walls got chipped and banged up and the wooden front door was gouged on my new home. The gentlemen supposedly attached the washer and dryer. However, when I used the machine, not only did the water flood the laundry room and the spare bedroom because it was not properly connected (there is carpet in my bedroom) but when I turned it off... it kept running as if it was still on! I had to unplug it to shut it down! The washing machine is only a year old and was broken during the move. As if that wasn’t enough, they broke the legs of both of my 55” TVs. The interesting part is, they didn’t tell me the legs were busted. They just leaned the TVs against the wall and said, nothing. I waited for Ross to tell me something since I heard one of the workers tell him they were broken. However, he didn’t say anything at all! I then asked him if he would order the legs since they broke them and the TVs can’t stay upright without them. After calling him three times, he said, he ordered them and it would take 5-6 weeks to receive them. I waited and received nothing. When they didn’t come, I tried calling Ross a couple of times and he never called me back. Therefore, I called the very same company, ordered the legs, and I received them in 3 days without expediting the order. I had a terrible experience with this company. Ross is a nice enough guy but he really should be using an actual moving crew which he actually pays. According to two of the gentlemen (movers) I was speaking to, they aren’t even movers. They live in a half way house and this is their way to get some air away from the home.
BEWARE: DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE MILITARY. My family and I hired Samson Moving to move from our off base house in Twentynine Palms to our on base house. Usually, the government will hire movers for you and you do not have to pay a dime out of pocket. However, government movers were not available at the time we were moving so we had to hire out movers, pay out of pocket and get reimbursed later. The actual move went great and everything was awesome until the bill came. Ross charged us $2,500 for a move that took 10.5 hours when his rate is $167/hour so we should’ve been charged $1,753. We thought this was a mistake so my husband called Ross to discuss the discrepancy in the price we were charged versus what we should’ve been charged according to his own prices. He refused to work with my husband and has dodged our calls ever since our move that took place in AUGUST. We have finally been reimbursed by the government and we were reimbursed a mere $1,000 compared to the $2,500 we were charged. All in all, a military family that makes sacrifices daily was taken advantage of by this moving company and grossly overcharged. We welcome Ross to contact us and will write a new review if he contacts us and resolves it in a timely manner.
Wonderful, extremely professional team. They helped me relocate from Palm Springs to LA for a pretty difficult move that was both time and labor intensive. Everyone had a great, positive attitude. They went above and beyond. I had many fragile items I was worried about and not one item arrived with a single scratch.
Samson moving company is great! I had them go to LA to move my billiard table and furniture to Palm Springs. They were very prompt and professional. They took great care in moving my furniture and wrapped each piece in the truck to prevent damage during transit. They dismantled my billiard table and assembled it when they delivered it to PS. Carlos and Jose did a wonderful job and I would recommend them any time.
Here are the facts: called the company for a quote. Dan began telling me to get a UHaul and move myself. I called him out on not valuing me as a customer. He and I were able to work out the conversation. I hired them and things were broken, I was charged more than what was agreed upon, and amateurs were used to move my piano. There were rips in my mattresses and my bedroom mirror was almost smashed. Steer clear! I would not recommend them.
