The moving was done in a timely manner. Unfortunately days after I discovered all my jewelry had been stolen. I had no intention of blaming anyone, but I did want the owner to be aware of what had transpired. He went ballistic on me. He screamed at me stating that I was trying to ruin his 15 year trajectory. He basically accused me of trying to scam him. I waited a couple weeks to call him again to see if we could discuss in a civil manner and he screamed at me again and the conversation ended short of him calling ME a thief. He refused to even ask his workers if they had seen anything. He refused to listen to me and turned around and blamed it on my family and my help who by the way had been around my jewelry for 12 years without anything ever disappearing. I was left dumfounded because I did not understand how he had stayed in business this long by handling this type of situation in this manner. To be fair I have no proof that they took the jewelry however there was no one else who had access to the jewelry who had been around the jewelry and not a single piece had gone missing, then after Santa Fe movers showed up it all disappeared. It took me this long to enter the feedback because frankly I’m afraid of this man and his excessive temper, but I also think it’s so unfair that my little girl will never get to have my deceased husband’s wedding band (which was among the items stolen) and so many other items with great sentimental value. But instead I have been made to look like the thief or the scammer. Truly, an unfortunate situation overall. I filed a police report but they also told me it was a loss. The amount of the gold taken was about 10 thousand dollars there were some serious family heirlooms in there but the money can never replace the sentimental value.
