The service until they pick the stuff is good but after that it's not that good. 1. They mentioned that all the furniture we open, we will fix and put it the way it was before picking up. But this didn't happen. 2. While delivering, they try to find out ways to get more money. They miscounted the distance between the truck and the apartment incorrectly and made me pay more. 3. The stuff is broken, they broke by dining table, parts are missing. 4. When you follow up with them for filing a claim, they vanish. No response despite several follow up. They don't worth trusting....I won't recommend them.

Regardless of the negative reviews I truly believe this was the best choice I personally could have made. They are friendly and keep their customers close. Any time I need them, they are just a call away. This is definitely a moving company i was able to rely on. Great people with great service! thank you again everyone

I am really disappointed in my move with this company. I should have read the reviews first. The moving guys were great and only a couple of things were broke, which is fine. They were not valuable. On the other hand getting them to show up on time and dispatch was awful. They scheduled my delivery a week early and had to rent 2 storage units that I have not been reimbursed yet because no one will call you back. Plus they sent the wrong size truck for the move and I had to rent a Uhaul to finish the job. I would not recommend.

I would highly recommend NOT using Smart Van Lines for your move. Smart Van Lines included numerous hidden fees that I was not told about until my stuff was already being moved onto their truck. My relatively new large flat screen TV was dropped right in front of me and the movers acted like nothing had even happened (Upon delivery I came to realize the TV was completely broken). I paid for an insurance protection plan with them, and I still have not received 1 cent back for my TV that they broke, months later, and I am positive I never will. Despite all of this, my move was guaranteed to leave it's destination by a certain date at to be delivered by a certain date, and I planned the day I drove up to my new destination according to their schedule. My belongings did not leave the origin until 1 week after I was informed it would. I called numerous times to ensure my stuff would depart on the correct day and was assured it would. If I had know that my stuff had not even left its origin, I would not have begun my drive to my new town. I was not informed of any updates on the delays. I had to call numerous times a day, where no one seemed to want to help update me on the status of my move. After calling numerous times a day for over a week, I learned that my move would be pushed back by about 2 weeks. They were unable to provide me with a time or day my things would arrive, so I was stuck in a new town with none of my belongings for over 2 weeks, unable to leave my apartment out of feat that they would randomly show up. Do not waste your time, effort, or money on this moving company despite any promises that they make you. I saw relatively good reviews when I was researching this company and decided to put my faith in them, however, I wish I had known that an experience like this was possible before dishing out thousands of dollars for a move I could have just done myself for less money and less time.

Wanted to quickly say what a blessing smart van lines was for my mother. She's needed help quick to move to California with My family and I, They were the only one who had the dates I needed, everything returned same condition it left which was the biggest worry. Great move
