Our door-to-door move from Tampa Florida to Jackson County could not have gone more smoothly without the great folks at Smoky Mountain Moving. Moving to a cabin home up the mountains, my concern was getting a moving company experienced in getting stuff up the mountain. Assured by my realtor that local folks are well experienced in this task, I searched for the right company to fit the bill. From my first contact with Laura, she assured me that Smoky Mountain Moving was well experienced in getting goods up the hill. She provided me with estimates, kept me informed and got me into their schedule despite the high season and short notice. Greg came out to the home to conduct his site survey to ensure all went smoothly with their planning. On the day of the move, Michael and Aaron promptly showed on time at my Tampa home, diligently loaded the truck throughout the hot and very humid summer day and finished up with loading up additional boxes and goods out of my storage unit. Two days later, the arrival and delivery at our Whittier home went as smooth as possible, and despite the need to shuttle our household goods from the larger truck to a smaller truck to get up the narrow gravel road, all went very well. With most of the boxes unpacked, to date not a single item damaged or broken. If you need a local move or a long-distance move, we highly recommend Smoky Mountain Moving. A small family owned company, perhaps this is to your advantage as it was to us. Honest and dependable, you can’t go wrong with this moving company. Everyone was great throughout the process and their patience, professionalism and experience came though for us, and will for you too!

When my original movers didn’t show, I called Smokey Mountain Movers, and evening though they were pretty busy, this company fit me in and scheduled me for two days later. They were on time, professional in appearance and manner, friendly, and careful. They asked questions to make sure everyone understood what would be going where (some stuff to storage, some stuff to the new place). The moving truck was clean, there were plenty of blankets and big rubber bands to keep everything secure. There was literally no room for improvement with this moving service. Thanks a bunch!

We had so much fun with Greg, Mike and Parker. They were great! Moved my mom from NC to Michigan. Came in and packed, loaded, hauled and then unloaded. Even sat down with us and had lunch before heading back. Almost didn’t want them to leave. They were professional, efficient and fun. My parents were in the military for 22 years and moved many times. Mom said they were the best she’d ever had. I don’t want to forget mentioning Laura. She was amazing! Made me feel like she was working for me. Thanks to you all. Really, really had fun with you. Highly recommended this company!

These guys were super courteous, professional, and quick. They moved my piano from my office to my home faster than I could have even rented a truck to try to do it myself. Will definitely use them again in the future.

The team were fast, efficient, friendly and most importantly careful in the packing of our items. We highly recommend them, and in fact are using them again for the move from storage to our new house.
