5/30/2020 This company is in one word...GREAT! I arranged the move for family in Wilmington, NC from Maryland. I had several questions, and spoke with both the owner Macon, and Nicole. They were terrific and answered all questions including that there were no hidden or additional fees, which other companies that I received quotes from were not so forthcoming about. As to moving day which was yesterday 5/30, my family only had glowing reviews for both Marquis and Juan. Polite, efficient professional, and summing up when they were finished and the job complete..."They did an excellent job". These guys were great !! The setup of logistics went so smoothly. We had a VERY courteous team of movers. I could not have asked for better consideration of our household goods. And, when they departed, our home was still clean. I would totally recommend Southern Moving.

I highly recommend Southern Moving & Storage! When I initially reached out to obtain an estimate, Macon responded without unreasonable delay. We scheduled an appointment for a walk-through and from that point on, he continued to respond to my questions in preparation for my move. I really appreciated his responsiveness! This is a huge factor for me when selecting a business to patronize. Then on moving day #1, I quickly gained confidence in my movers - Marquis, Carlos, & Juan - because of their communication and professionalism prior to arrival and while they worked. They called beforehand to give me an ETA and when they arrived, they introduced themselves and quickly began working. They were extremely polite in all of our interactions. I was excited that they were reassigned to me on moving day #2!! I am very pleased with the services I received from Southern Moving & Storage! They were very thorough and careful with my belongings and I will definitely use them again, should the opportunity present itself!!
