**IF THIS COMPANY MOVES FURNITURE LIKE IT PAINTS INTERIORS, YOU HAD BETTER CALL SOMEONE ELSE!** SpeedyMen Moving on 4255 Trotters Way seems to be the same company as SpeedyGuys Painting. Here's my experience with SpeedGuys... You work hard. You work even harder to manage the money you make. You should receive something in return for every hard-earned dollar you spend... primarily satisfaction! You won't get it with painter. I paid this painter just over $400 in cash for what he called a "cash special." It was just to paint a 250 square foot ceiling, which included about a foot-long water-damaged area that required putty and sanding. The job looked great when he finished; however, two days later, the water-damaged area cracked and reappeared (see pictures). I attempted to have the owner (Jay) come back out to correct the job. After offering several excuses about why the crack reappeared (sweating pipes in the walls, too much moisture in the house...), Jay agreed to come back out. Not only did he not show over a two-week period, he also did not contact me until I posted a negative review here about my experience. I was out of the money I paid Jay for the initial job AND even more money for someone else correct the job. When Jay finally called me, he offered me a partial refund to be paid ONLY if I removed my negative review. So he was paid in full for a job that someone else needed to be paid to correct, and all he offered was a partial refund. I insisted that I would remove the review only after he mailed the refund. After he responded with, "We could agree to disagree," the call ended. It's been almost a month, and I have still not received the partial refund. I even relented and removed the initial negative review to expedite the process. Paying for the same job twice in a short period of time pretty much ensured no Christmas for my kids this year, so even the partial would have helped. Thanks, Jay, for no satisfaction, no apology, no partial refund and no Christmas. I hope you enjoy yours. 12/11/18 RESPONSE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: It's the same company. Please see the pictures below.
