Sterners Moving & Transporting

Please do not go through this company. I recently (this past weekend) had a move done by them and my furniture is ruined! I was quoted it would take 4 hours to pack my place by Kolby and it took 9 hours!!! My leather kitchen chairs are all torn, my office chair had the wood scrapped everywhere because they put my beach cruiser on top of it with no blanket, and many many many more issues. No professionalism with this company and I please ask that you go with someone else to save yourself the stress. Moving is stressful enough. Not to also mention that I have since my move left messages and emails with no return yet on how to handle my damaged items. If need be it will be taken to court but please save yourself the stress and devastation you will have will them!!

I used this company in August and it was not a good experience. I wrote a bad review and the owner of the company contacted me and asked if there was anything he could do to make it up to me. He said he wished I would have contacted him earlier and the 2 guys that moved me were let go. I still had additional items to move so I asked him to take care of my move. The price was reasonable and the guys were really good. They were careful with my belongings and hard working and fast. I only had to say where I wanted things to go and what was to go once. It was totally different from the first move. Great job!!!

Very pleased with Sterners Moving. Excellent communication beginning with an onsite visit from a representative (Jon) all the way through the day before the move and the day of the move. Movers arrived on time, were very friendly & courteous, handled boxes/furniture with care, and were efficient with their work. I had done my thorough research in selecting Sterners from among several other moving companies I had looked at (including some in Baltimore). I am very glad I chose Sterners and have no regrets. I highly recommend them as trustworthy local movers who demonstrate integrity.
