Destroyed our grand piano during pickup and paid for a third of the repair cost. The movers were incompetent and did not have the right tools for the job.

My experience with Sunset Moving and Storage Group has been exceptional and very smooth! Scott has provided me outstanding customer service by responding to every question I had in a detailed, thorough and prompt manner while expressing patience and enthusiasm. I was very impressed by their flexibility in being able to fulfill last minute accommodations that I had requested. The rates they offered were highly competitive compared to other local movers. We moved from Florida to New York, 2 stars because of the guys that packed our stuff in Florida were great, the lady Fernanda that took our order was very nice. But we asked her more then ones if Sunset would be the one delivering our furniture & she said yes without a doubt, WELL that was a lie a different company delivered, the driver was super cool But the 2 KIDS that carried our furniture inside were HORRIBLE I mean one of them walked out the job after 30 min then he came back was cursing the whole time and complaining because we had stairs which they broke the top part of, they damage our brand new headboard, they broke a stick to our brand new stairs, damage our new painted walls, the kept slamming our furniture which my husband had to step in & say something. If I would of known Sunset wasn’t delivering I would of not picked them. They damage my brand new couch both of them because of slamming . My recliner doesn’t work right anymore. Never again will I use this company. I was fooled by the reviews. Maybe they do good locally but not long distance. Oh last but not least they did not put my toddlers furniture back together I had to do it.

I am using this company for the second time within a year, because the company itself is very reasonably priced. This time the team of Rambo, Eduardo, Gene Cadet really outdid every other movers I have ever had. They had a difficult moving situation where my hallway was too small for my furniture, they had to undo the legs of my table and my sofa to get it through a kitchen pass-through! They were geniuses at their jobs, they knew exactly how to take apart and put everything back together. When they were done, there were kind enough to help fix my furnitures that were already kind of broken before the move, got worse after the move and they fixed to an even better shape than before. Rambo always does his job with a smile and knows more than anybody else how to make the furniture fit the space, Eduardo never complains and is very thorough and polite , and Gene could be an expert at disassembling, re-assembling and even repairing furniture. If I have to move again, I would ask for this trio team again, and I would recommend them whole heartedly. Good job guys!

Excelente services, they were professional and quick. The price for of the job given the quality of the hard work, I really recommend no complain about them I can’t express my gratitude enough thank you again.
