Customer service while booking was great but that’s where it ended. On site service was awful, one of the guys complained about every single box and piece of furniture. The movers decided to stand on my kitchen table and lift the items from there onto my second floor balcony into the unit. Incredibly unsafe, especially with a very expensive car right beneath them. I had a mug and a wine glass get damaged from their laziness and I am unable to replace these items as they were expensive gifts. They had used the balcony method for every box and every piece of furniture except the kitchen table and dresser. When I spoke to the companies customer service line they just said sorry and thank you for the feedback. Very disappointed with the service I received for the amount of money we paid.

I used Sunset Moving to move my 1/1 and they were wonderful. Both Gene and Edgar arrived on time and were very professional. They were careful and moved quickly. They had to move all of my items from a 3rd floor unit with stairs. They both worked efficiently, and Edgar was great and stacking everything carefully in my tiny storage unit. Would use this company again!

I’ve used this company three times. They are absolutely terrible and have a really terrible insurance policy. They were the cheapest every time I received quotes. So I expected that the move would have some complications. And there were always problems. I specifically hired them to pack everything and move. There were always broken glasses and picture frames and items left behind, etc. I was always very understanding and lenient. I kept using them because I was willing to sacrifice a few minor broken things to save on price because I figured every mover would break things...it happens, I understand (my mistake for using them). The major problem was that they broke my 75” flat screen TV ($2000+). However not only did they break it, but they didn’t even pack it correctly. They threw a moving blanket over it and one mover attempted to move it by himself!!! This was completely negligent. When I filed the insurance claim, they came back to me and informed me that the “fine print” says they will reimburse me with $60/pound ...yes...per pound!! So for a TV that is 100 pounds max they offered $100 ($60 plus an extra $40 to be generous). I will never use them again and I would recommend that nobody ever use them. All the people I dealt with were very nice. It’s not personal, but the movers were careless and negligent and the insurance policy is deceiving and inadequate.
