Completely unsatisfied with the condition of my property. Received my shipment today and everything was thrown into the crate. Almost every box was crushed, broken fishing gear, damaged mountain bike, boxes were busted open with clothes just thrown back into the crate. Absolutely no professionalism what so ever.
This is a long story but I will try to make it quick! Most importantly this company does not have trustworthy employees and they also will not take responsibility for their employees actions! This was our family’s first military PCS so we were very new to the entire process of movers and everything! These three man seemed like cool, down to earth, charismatic people! They talked with us, made jokes, shared personal experiences, and also walked straight out the house with hundreds of dollars worth of our electronics! But with all that aside the overall process was horrible once we figured out that our lack of knowledge of how things worked, out friendly nature and distractions of dealing with our children through the move, allowed us to be victims! Whenever they would tell us a protocol they would follow up with the “quicker way” to do it. When we would opt to just do it within regulation they would literally continue to ask every ten minutes or so if we still wanted to proceed. Examples: calling off/checking the numbers on every box they take in (because that would take forever) and if we wanted them in appropriate rooms, then if we wanted them to unpack! It was truly over whelming especially with the children! I will be the first one to admit my wrong and after the 150th box, my crying/fussing 1yr old, hungry 4&7yr old, and the 20 time they asked if we wanted to continue calling off numbers - I told them they could just take it all in side and start unpacking. Then they proceed to ask us literally every ten minutes again if we wanted them to unpack. After we said yes each time, they upped the game to asking after each box! They didn’t finish putting together the furniture, they didn’t place items where I asked them to, they broke glass (had me drive to get a broom to clean it) ... We couldn’t take it anymore and we just said “thanks, you can go home”! So we get in the car to go grab something to eat a few Hours later and one of my streaming devices gives me a notification email that two apps have been installed! So I don’t think too much into it (I have several devices and family something uses my account )! We get back home and started unpacking and putting to gather their half finished jobs and the ONLY box missing from our house was the box with the 3 play stations, the joysticks, games, and our streaming devices! My husband is tearing each box down looking for his and our sons game! It’s just not there! I then put two and two together and call my streaming devices company and they let me know the signal is coming one of the missing devices and JTS PINGING IN TIWN! Now keeps in mind, we moved from Texas to California. Our first time being in this end of the world and our stuff had been locked in shopping creates for two and a half months! After being in storage for two in a half months, it’s MAGICALLY picking up a signal twenty minutes away ON THE SAME DAY or crates were reopened? I think NOT! I called the company and they immediately try to shut me down! I told them I literally just wanted the devices back. Not even about money. We had priceless family files from years so stopped on one of the devices. So, Then the head manager says she will get in contact with the owner. There owners solution was to call the military and deny any and all responsibility. Never once tried to reach out or solve it. Needless to say our devices never got returned, the company never tried to help and we are still fighting the claim since TECHNICALLY the items did make it to our home. I would never recommend them to anyone. Horrible experience!
Had a great experience with a military move. The movers showed up when they said they would and quickly unloaded. Everything was in good shape-I had no damaged items.
Final payment was $2500 more than estimate. Ouch.
They packed our appt super fast, & unloaded it amazingly quick! Nothing broken, they packed everything very very well. These guys were working super hard & were so kind.
