Review:

Revised 03/10/20, The Woodlands Moving & Storage (TWMS) I was contacted by TWMS as shown below and there was a sincere desire to "make things right" after seeing my review in GOOGLE, but a delay was posed by the OWNER of the company until March due to decreased business activity, which is understandable. However, I am still waiting for their "Agreed Compensation" for the items (of which a wavier I did sign), where I released to them from my original report. As of yet, I HAVE HEARD NOTHING SINCE January. It may be true that this company is not concerned about their reputation or what they do to affect the lives of their customers? Original POST, at 1st glance, this company has a great game face and The STAFF are TOP NOTCH, but when we had out of a 3 bedroom house, moved by TWMS and stored for 3 months in their facility, there were broken, melted, and missing items when the "move-in" time came. TWMS lost the parts to put our beds back together, lost a special concrete garden bench and other items, broke lamps and other items that TWMS packed themselves. We went to the BBB and TWMS worked with us right up to the end and then bailed out after we signed the Wavier and Did Not HONOR their Own Agreement. TWMS Dragged us through all that and then did nothing they agreed to perform. we lost our items and had to live with the losses. if there was a negative star, they would get it.

Review:

Ray and his 2 other employees arrived had truck loaded in 30 minutes. I had made sure my items were wrapped and packed so if anything was damaged it was on me. They were courteous and professional the whole time. I would like to give higher rating if it were not for being late past promised time no fault of driver. Under new management I believe need work on communication of schedule.

Review:

I wish I didn’t have to write this review, but I do. I have used Woodlands Moving for the past 10 years. Every previous move was great, but our last move in April was AWFUL. It was unlike any other experience with Woodlands Moving. Here are some of my concerns: NONE of the furniture was wrapped in plastic or blankets. The couch cushions were thrown loose into the dirty moving truck and onto our front lawn then only to be carried against the body of VERY sweaty men. Our 65” 4K television has a thumb print in the screen which created a vertical line down the screen. The movers dragged instead of lifted our furniture on our upstairs wood floor leaving scratches everywhere. The movers lifted our bedroom dressers from the top lip causing the top to become detached. The movers told me that happens when you have cheap furniture. Our dining room table (without being covered in plastic or blankets) was placed upside down in the truck and slid around causing thousands of scratches. Our filing cabinet was turned upside down causing all of the papers in the files to dump out. We had to take the back off of the cabinet to even open the drawers. I will never be able to organize the files. I first reached out to Woodlands Moving only about my television. They only offered me $200 for $4,000 television. Being shocked by this compensation, I emailed Woodlands Moving my other concerns and to speak with the owner. The office’s response was to fill out more claim forms. I asked to speak to the owner first. It took weeks for someone to call me. After finally speaking with Jason Adams, he told me to fill out more claim forms. I told him that I didn’t think filing out claim forms was the right avenue for my concerns. He also explained that they normally compensate for damaged furniture by going on Craigslist and finding a comparable furniture item and then compensating the owner accordingly. I told them that would be unacceptable. My table was brand new and was damaged because his movers didn’t take steps that every other mover would have. Furthermore, all of my concerns were not the result of accidents. They were because his movers were careless, lazy, or not properly trained. I included photos of the damages.
