I highly do NOT recommend TLC Van Lines. Valerie started out friendly and professional. She quoted $2,600 relocating fm L.A. to NJ. By the time they were said and done I was charged over $5K along with all damaged furnitures which they PACKED and CHARGED us extra for. They nickle and dime you for every little thing. The distance from the truck to entrance, distance from entrance to door, stairs, elevator, everything is extra. Anything over 75 feet is additional. Delivery men were very rude, demanding payment without 24 hr. notice, called 10+ times at my work then threatened to turn it over to the storage and we're responsible for storage fees. Not to mention, he relieved himself right next to his truck in a reputatable area after arriving 2hrs late and my husband and I were reprimanded by the building manager. After 3 long months of damage CLAIMs they offered compensation of $94. $5k in moving cost and damaged furnitures, dented/warpped pots/pans and both mattresses, leather office chair warped in the middle with funky odor being in a hot truck which they claimed that the truck was temperature controlled. Keep in mind unless you're IT savvy, it's very difficult to file a damage claim. YOU DO THE MATH. THEY'RE SCAM ARTIST.

We moved from CA to CO. The movers broke a lot of our things that they had packed themselves and our moving driver spoke disrespectfully toward us. He also made sexual comments toward the leasing office staff at our new apartment. He refused to deliver our items without an additional $700 charge, three times. After speaking with customer service about the many issues we encountered and several thousand dollars extra we paid, Valerie “guaranteed” us to get a call from her manager and their claims department. It has been 5 days and we have yet to receive a call from either one. Writing this review in the hopes that someone will read it and not make the same mistake we did.

Use another company. I give one star because I must in order to write a review. It took over 2 weeks from the time of pickup in Lancaster to the time of delivery outside Portkand Oregon. No communication during this time. Then attitude when I kept calling to find out where her bed & belongs were. Once they finally showed up 4 days after "I'll be there tomorrow " they dumped her stuff and left. My daughter's furniture is damaged beyond use. Her bed frame parts were not all delivered. And the company is being less than responsive to her and to me. Fair warning. Over $1200 for 1 bedroom of furniture & clothes.

Moved me from California to Seattle without running into any speed bumps along the way. It’s seldomly seen that a long distance move in this industry is exceptional, but I happened to encounter this type of experience with TLS Van Lines. I guess it’s because they invest the extra time and effort into making sure each move is well planned and coordinated to prevent missteps. I wish more companies were fully invested intmthe services they were providing. It would make the service industry better as a whole! Thanks again for a smooth experience and for setting the pace!

We used TLS Van Lines when my son was moving out of his apartment and needed storage for a couple months until he moved to his next apartment. Everyone in customer service was very professional and helpful. The movers took the time to photo every item and wrap them carefully. Cost was reasonable. I would have no hesitation using them again. Thank you for making the moves so EASY!
