I hired Tony’s Sons Moving to move me from Elk Grove, CA to Coos Bay, OR and I had no problems at all. Sam came to my house to do the cost quote and it was a fair price. Our builders ran a week behind so I had to call him and move the date and he was very accommodating. In the day of pickup, we had Michael and Matthew come to the house. They were very careful with our furniture. Michael places everything in the truck so that it wouldn’t break during the 8 hour drive. When Michael arrived to deliver, he was again very gentle on our belongings and placed them anywhere I requested. He even gave me some excellent interior decorating advice on where to place my hutch. This is an excellent moving company. I don’t ever want to move again but if I do, I hope I can find as good of a company as Tony’s Sons. I did get another estimate from a discount mover and it was $1,6000 more so I definitely got my money’s worth. Thank you for making my move less stressful.

Worst moving experience ever! So many bad things in a single moving.They damaged many furniture items. They had this brilliant idea of wrapping an expensive desk with kitchen clear plastic wrap without fabric protection, and of course all corners got smashed. All my kids beds came damaged, plus my book shelves, plus the massage chair. The guys came in without tools to disassemble furniture. They kept screws in their own pockets and took home. Only realized the mistake the next day and returned them. Several furniture screw and connectors were gone missing. The moving truck was out of shape. It could not jump start after all furniture were loaded. The next day, the owner had the same crew to unload and load to another truck and drive to our place for unloading. The guys came in already tired. Yet, all the paperwork walk-through were done super unprofessional, they barely explain the terms of insurance, and only ask sign here and there. And of course, we were asked to sign for a damage policy of "6 cents of reimbursement for every pound of damaged furniture"! Ridiculous! I call the company to claim the damage, the owner keeps asking me "what do you want, what do you really want?" as if I was sabotaging her. All I wanted was to claim the damage, and be reimbursed properly! I sent all damaged information, with pictures and descriptions. Finally she came up with the quote, and over the phone we agreed to send me $250. After whole while, she sends me a check of $200. Anyhow, this is a very unprofessional company, but they charge the same price as an professional one. I regret greatly for having picked it.

Last month, we were searching for a reliable and honest moving company for our move from Sacramento, CA to Minneapolis, MN. One of my friends who had previously used Tony's Sons strongly recommended this company. So we called the company and asked for a quotation. The quotation was fairly priced and more competitive than the two quotations we got from other moving companies. On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time and they were extremely professional, fast, efficient and took good care of our furniture and belongings, not to mention how friendly and courteous they were. Everything arrived on time and in an excellent condition as promised by the owners. The honest and very hard working people at Tony's sons made our move a stress free experience. Thank you Tony's sons for a well done job!
