Review:

The absolute worst company I have EVER had the displeasure of working with. They sent us movers who were clearly high, and reeked of marijuana. I don't think they had any experience whatsoever in packing belongings, this was clearly their first time, and while high you can just imagine what the quality of their packing was like. I would have been better off having my elementary school children pack our belongings. That is just the start. They came entirely unprepared and did not have the proper things necessary to pack our belongings (i.e. scissors, box cutters, bubble wrap) for overseas shipment. What was promised to be a few hours of our day, turned into a 24 hour project where my husband had to stay the entire time supervising as there was no supervisor sent with these incompetent packers. Even the guy driving the container told my husband that we had been cheated, and that this was the worst packing job he had ever witnessed. Once they finished shabbily packing our things, and it was time to seal the container, they informed my husband that they did not in fact have what was needed to properly secure the items in the container. At this point we were absolutely fed up and told them to just close the box. We contacted the company immediately to express our extreme dissatisfaction, and I wrote a review of our horrible experience on here. The company informed my husband that unless I removed my review that they would not even consider discussing with us any form of compensation. So I removed my review, and they promised that they would refund us after seeing how our goods would arrive at our destination. Fast forward 2 months and our shipment arrives in Saudi Arabia. Our coffee table arrived completely damaged with no hope of repair, and was thrown out. They packaged cleaning supplies with food supplies, which burst and contaminated the dried foods that then had to be thrown away. They did not properly wrap candles, which then melted all over a lot of irreplaceable documents and pictures. Our mattress was deformed and rendered unusable. The mirror for my grandmother's antique chest of drawers was cracked and damaged because they haphazardly wrapped it. So, we contacted them again only to be given the run around. As another reviewer has mentioned it is impossible to get in contact with someone who can actually help you. They bounce you from person to person, and it really honestly seems like the company only consists of 3 incompetent people. Every time I'd ask to speak to someone higher up, they'd tell me that it wasn't company policy.I am attaching pictures of how things were packed. I'm not sure how they have 4 stars, and I am completely shocked by the people giving them good reviews. It is now 8 months later, since receiving our shipment, and nothing has been done by the company to reimburse us for the absolutely atrocious experience. I held off posting a review in hopes that maybe they would turn things around and do the right thing, and also because they swore that they would not help us in any way if we left our negative review up. What kind of company threatens not to help their customers for honest reviews left?! My money was basically flushed down a toilet and I have no hope of ever getting it back, and now it is my duty as a consumer to warn others. Looking through the reviews I fully expect that the company will reply with a comment either saying I'm lying, gaslight me into thinking that my experience wasn't what it was, and/or ask me to reach out to customer relations. Well I did reach out, and I called and emailed and followed every step and they still won't refund my money. My reply to them is that the only solution at this point is a full reimbursement for the trouble we've been through. DO NOT use this company. DO NOT be fooled by the sweet talking salesman you deal with at the start of the process, because after that experience everything else is extremely downhill.

Review:

Really great company! I’ve now used their services twice and have been very satisfied both times. My uncle relocated to Sydney in 2018 and they handled the whole move expertly at the time. More recently I was just sending him a couple of things (a large wooden trunk, some boxes, etc), so it was a simpler process in a lot of ways. Same first rate experience. Highly recommend for relocations and shipments overseas!

Review:

Transparent International did an outstanding job with our move to New Zealand. Communication is a must for me, and they were amazing. Very quick responses to my inquiries and follow up to make sure I had done my part (paperwork, etc.). Just really good work all around. From the accurate in home estimate to successfully making all the arrangements on the New Zealand side of things. Even the actual moving was very well done. I thought my husband would be micromanaging the packing, but he was happy with the movers too! Makes it so much easier to start this exciting new chapter of our lives on the right foot when the move goes smoothly. Great job!

I have never done an international move before so 6 months ago I went online and submitted a request for a quote. Within a few short minutes I received a phone call from a representative and was greeted. The representative was informative, thorough and took the time to iron-out all the details of my move with me. After speaking with several other companies before making my decision my choice was clear. This was a company that provided the information that I needed to have a successful and stress free move. All my personal goods were well taken care of and I received them in London in my new home. After my move was completed I called my moving coordinator to personally thank them for their work and making this move a great experience. I wanted to thank the entire transparent international team for helping me navigate through my move.
