Great service and took great care of our belongings. Highly recommend this company!

DO NOT use Troys! His crew damaged the door of my old house and my refrigerator and after over a year him dodging my calls I finally gave up. It wasn’t even questionable whether they did the damage the guys who worked for him called him when it happened and wrote it in the receipt they provided me. He promised he would repair everything when we spoke and never showed up when he was suppose to meet me and after that point he began to dodge my calls. They didn’t take any precautions with my furniture and just threw stuff around. I’m sure if I moved move than 2 miles I would’ve had more items damaged. They showed up almost 2 hours early and charged me more than the quote bc they were there too early and needed to wait parked at the new house until our closing was complete. He’s extremely unprofessional. He came recommended from our real estate agent so I didn’t research him. I did after the fact and it looks like many had the same experiences I did. It’s not worth saving the extra$$ to have a hassle with this guy. One last thing that I should mention he requires a cash deposit, so we had to go to some sketching warehouse in Lowell to make the deposit since I wasn’t sending cash through the mail.

I used Troy's Moving on my move from Lowell to New Jersey between Jan 7, 2020 and Jan 9, 2020, They loaded on one day and delivered two days later right on schedule. Troy himself comes out to examine all that will be part of the move, and gives a quote just a bit on the high side (which is great, as his high end quote is drastically lower then 3 or 4 other companies I called and that was after applying their "ahem discount coupons"). On the day of the move, there were 3 guys in a 28 foot moving truck (5 feet longer than most all other companies), these guys were all very cordial, polite and hard workers who knew how to do the job correctly. They were efficient and actually ended an hour earlier than originally quoted. (ch-ching, $$ back). We signed papers in New Jersey the next day and expected them the following day at 8:30am, they arrived around 7am and were done, and gone by 9:00am. Everything we wanted to be setup, was done, we are actually shipping some of the items to our 3 children all over the country and they were fantastic about ensuring that each of them had their items stacked which had their names on them in separate areas of the new garage. Even after tipping them each of the 6 guys (3 each way) quite generously, my overall cost was much lower than any other company I had contacted. I highly recommend them for both short haul and in my case, long haul. Do yourself a favor, before deciding on any other moving company, call Troy's, I certainly benefited from doing so! Cons: Troy only accepts a Certified Check made out for the amount of his original quote for the job. With everything there is to do in a move, tracking yet one more item (in this case a refund) is simply one more task I wish I hadn't had to do. I did receive the Refund Check within 3 weeks of the move, and within 3 days of settling up on the phone.

We have now moved with them three times each time they were friendly, early, and made the process easy! Cannot say enough about them, house was as clean when they finished as when they started, everything was in its place, every employee was friendly, and prices excellent!

Troy's company completely surpassed my expectations. Troy was in direct contact with me the entire time and did an excellent job of answering all of my calls and questions right away. Troy came out to my house and gave us an estimate which was almost 1/3 the cost of another quote I received. Troy was very helpful with giving tips on how to save money with the move. The morning of our move, 3 gentlemen showed up with a MASSIVE truck and fit all of our belongings inside (2400 sq ft house) without a problem! The men worked extremely quickly and respectfully treating our belongings as their own. In the end, they ended up getting the job done on time and UNDER budget! I can not recommend Troy's Moving & Storage enough. They will be the only moving company I call back in the future! Thanks Troy!
