Twiins Relocation LLC Customer Reviews

Review:

Twiins Relocation was a terrible choice for me and my wife. For starters made an appointment for 9 A.M. Monday morning. I'm guessing Chris the owner called 2 days prior to reschedule me for a later day because a repeat customer was more important. I had to alter my whole entire week. So now my appointment is Wed. morning at 9. He calls me Wed morning at 10 saying he would be there at 11- 11:30. Chris showed up at 12:43. Chris came into my one bedroom apartment and said that this more than he expected. Chris and I made a deal. The deal was if I move the little boxes he would move everything else for me but first he had to make an important delivery to Canton first. Yet again he pushed me back for another customer. Canton is an hour away from me as well. It took these guys so long that me and pregnant wife moved the bulk of the work. 6 o clock he tells me that him and a partner would be on the way and that I had to still pay the price that was given to me. I thought that was unfair my key was supposed to be turned in by 6. And my wife and I were very unhappy he didn't even work with us on the price after all of these shenanigans. Instead he hung up in our face and blocked our number. We never even got there services that day. This business is very unprofessional and I personally think they should be reported to the BBB. Chris the way you handle business is just piss poor. Me and my wife were very offended and you should be ashamed of yourself. Please people do not bring your business to this company. This is a HORRIBLE company and I repeat this is a HORRIBLE company. Run away from them.

I used this service to move my parents. It was a mistake. The original estimate called for a 6 to 8 hour move time, and we hired a three man team. The arrived 1 1/2 hours late after calling to say they would be a little late. The owner showed up with the moving team, in a polo and flip flops, not really giving a professional appearance. While he surveyed my parents home, he chuckled with the team, and then told me, "Yeah, they are going to be here a while." The movers took a 2 hour lunch break, and moved at a snails pace the entire time they were there. They arrived at 10:30 AM and did not get the truck loaded until 7:00 PM. When I called the owner to discuss, he seemed uninterested, and told me he would call the team to get them moving. They arrived at the new location 3 hours after they left the original location, which is only an hour away. During this time, I called the owner twice, who still seemed lackadaisical about the entire experience, and told me he had no idea where his team was. "Maybe they stopped for dinner." He did not return my call requesting updates on their location. They finally arrived at the new house at 10:00 PM and were not done unloading the truck until 1:00 AM. My 76 year old mother had to wait until after midnight to get into her own bed. The movers were unapologetic, and tried to bill me for all the hours , with the exception of 2 hours for lunch and dinner. It is my opinion that this business is in the business of doing as little as possible to bill you for as many hours as possible. I do not recommend using this company. (One star rate is only because I had to give them something to post this, if I could do negative stars I would.)

I wish I did not have to write this but it would not be right of me not to share my experience. I reached out to them to move in April of this year. I packed everything up so its was fairly simple, just them grabbing boxes and getting me from one side of town to the other. When I moved into my new apartment, I was happy. As I unpacked boxes in my kitchen (which I was so concerned about), everything was fine except a wine glass that I did not wrap too tight. That wasn't their fault, no harm no foul. However, when the uVerse technician came to set up my cable and internet, he plugged my flat screen in the wall and pointed out the damage that was done to my fairly new (less than 3 month old) television. The screen was cracked in the top right corner and there were vertical lines through the picture. I asked him what could have happened and he said something hit your screen, hard. Now, when this television was put into and pulled out of the box, I used all of the protective foam that it came with originally (as I knew that I was moving) and the box was secure. Up until the morning of the move, I watched the television and everything was fine. My father and I did not tug, force or jam it into the box. It went right in. So it had to be their responsibility. I reached out to Twiins, numerous times. I called, I texted, I was compliant with every request that they made (including taking pictures, answering emails, being available when they were able to talk) to no avail. I opted for the $300 insurance and although I paid $500 for the television, I still felt that something was better than nothing. I didn't even get that. Just a promise that Chris would come pick up the television and he never showed up and they have not communicated with me since then. Basically, dealing with Twiins is a gamble. It can either go very well and you won't have to deal with what happened to me, or something could go wrong and they won't take blame or responsibility for it. It's up to you.
