I would never hire this so called Two Failures and a truck, In this case it was four failures & two trucks. First of all they loaded one truck, instead of taking it to our new house and start unloading they stayed at the old house. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME Two of them could have driven to the new house and start unloading. They broke a wheel off our space heater. They were to bring wardrobe boxes which we paid for They claim that they forgot them, so they used plastic bags half of them were torn open. The longer they worked the worst they got. They took two boxes of fragile contents and threw them from the first floor to the basement. One broke open and the contents spilled all over the floor. Brand new house and they scared up some of the walls. The thing that really got in my claw is the fact that they tell you if the job takes less than ten hours the cost is 2,100.00 if it is more than Ten hours the cost is 2,600.00 They claim it took them about Ten hours and Twenty three minutes. And their Supervisor is no better. He defended these losers. He was not concerned about my Issues. I still may sue them for the difference between the less than ten hours and the over ten hours. DO NOT USE THIS CROOKED OUTFIT. They have no morals. THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN BY THE BBB. I HAVE WARNED YOU ALL, Ronald Griffis
Couldn’t be happier. Kim, my initial consultant, made me feel so comfortable and ready for my move I didn’t feel the need to shop around with other moving companies.
Very satisfied. Workers were kind and knowledgeable. Will continue using TMAAT for future moves.
Great people, excellent service and super work ethic. More than reasonable price. We’ve used Two Men and a Truck twice and each time was great.
No two people in the Cedar Rapids office knew the details of my move. I was given different loading and unloading times by different people in the office. I was given several different arrival times to load my items. When the movers had not arrived 90 minutes after the agreed upon time, I called the manager. When I complained about the poor communication, he threatened to cancel my move. I was able to track down the owner and he got this resolved. The owner has not subsequently responded to numerous attempts to get in touch with him with problems I had during and after the move. My possessions were loaded in Waterloo, unloaded in Cedar Rapids and then re-loaded in Cedar Rapids. Had I been told my items would be loaded and unloaded twice before reaching my destination, I would have paid them to pack. The movers arrived at my destination without the inventory list that had been completed in detail by the movers who did the first loading in Waterloo. When I asked for the inventory list, I was sent a fabricated list that was grossly incomplete and inaccurate. I was told I would pay the movers at my destination but they knew nothing about this. My credit card was subsequently charged without my authorization. When I brought this to the attention of the corporate office, I was told I signed paperwork that said the credit card used for the deposit was the one that would be used to pay the balance. No such paperwork exists. I have items missing but the company has not responded to this. My items were moved as part of another move. This has all the appearances of a move that was done off the books.
