Two Men and a Truck, Omaha NE

Used Two Men and a Truck for the third time at the beginning of May and couldn’t have been more pleased! We got Ellis and Frank and they were fast, courteous and have great taste in music. Hope to see you on the bike trails Ellis and Frank take good care of the daughter of yours. Great people all around to work with, highly recommend!

I had used the company several times in the past with good results, therefore they earned good reviews and my business with this recent move. This recent move was not the "five star experience" that I expected. I filled out the review card accordingly - the rating reflects the service I received. I kept getting called by a Christine who wanted to apologize and wanted to know how to make things right - but when I stated that I wasn't going to change my rating because I was disappointed (not angry as it was implied), the tone changed. While explaining my points of view, it became a deflection seminar (cameras on the truck did not indicate stealing) and the old "I'm sorry, what did you say, you're breaking up" routine began. At that point, it confirmed that what mattered was having the rating changed (probably to meet a performance or sales goal of some sort), and not addressing my issue. Bottom line: I did not get the value of service that I paid for and expected from past experience, therefore you get the rating that reflects the experience (the actual service plus the followup sales "apology" call). Don't bother with the standard "we'll do better on your next move" reply - I'll take my business elsewhere.

Our movers showed up on wrong side of storage facility so I asked the coordinator while I was on the phone with her if she’d call and tell them to drive up to other side but she didn’t call them so they say there for 20-30 minutes, for which we were charged. The two movers we had were both new and took almost 2-4 hours longer to move our stuff from shed to new house. The stuff in shed was neatly organized and shrink wrapped better than it was when it was put in there and it took the first movers we had half the time to do the same work/usage. Then they left a piece of one of our bookcase footings in shed, then didn’t tell us until we asked, and then the storage folks threw it away so now our bookcase is ruined. Very disappointing experience this time.

It was a long interstate move. The two guys arrived on time and did not stop working until the move out and move in processes were done 12 hours later. Polite and helpful all the way through. Could not be more pleased. A job well done from start to finish. Congratulations to leader John and and team associate Tommy.

I was satisfied with the quality of the movers. They were fast and efficient. I only rated Two Men and a Truck at three stars because they have a $20 fuel surcharge ( I did not use their truck, only had them unload my PODS). They also charge for drive time. The movers called me and said they were driving from 25 min away. Then they charge to drive to next site. I think I easily paid for an hour of drive time. For over $100 an hour that is not money well spent. Really is unfortunate they do this because they offered quality moving service just at a VERY hefty price
