Two Men And A Truck, Pueblo CO

We recently moved from Florida to Colorado, and our belongings were in storage for over a year and a half while we built our new home. It had been so long since we had even seen our 3 storage units worth of belongings, that I couldn't completely accurately relay to our TMAAT representative just what we had for items and unusual or heavy furniture. I definitely expected on moving day that we'd hear something like, "Oh there will have to be additional charges for that couch and that tv and that kayak you forgot to mention." Everything about our new home construction went over budget and way beyond promised time frames. Not having heard or experienced many good stories about moving companies, we decided to try Two Men and a Truck, which had a location only blocks from our rental in Pueblo, Colorado. Our moving day had to be post-poned 3 times because the builder couldn't get his sub-contractors to get the house finished when promised, but TMAAT painlessly adjusted our moving day each time, no headaches, no extra charges, no surprises. Based on what we heard and experienced in the past with moving companies, when moving day finally arrived, we fully expected grungy looking non-English speaking workers, and one excuse after another about how the quote we received was too conservative and there would be up charges, blah blah blah. We figured they would work slow and cost us extra money since you pay by the hour. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when 2 large clean trucks, with 4 neat young men in uniform arrived at our storage facility at 8:30am sharp. They were very polite and respectful (a big deal for us 'older' old school folks), and willing to do anything we desired as far as getting all 3 storage units emptied. Our quote was originally based on a max of about 7.5 hours total time, in the neighborhood of $2000. About an hour into the loading, I had to go to the new construction to meet with contractors, leaving my wife to oversee the emptying of all 3 storage units. Imagine my surprise when about an hour later she texted me that our storage units were empty and loaded, and that everyone was on their way to our new house. The guys worked quickly and cleanly, not scratching a thing. They even helped with assembling a huge new corner office desk unit I had purchased, that I doubt my wife and I alone could have lifted. My wife isn't easily impressed with the work ethic of young people these days, but she couldn't say enough good things about these 4 young men and how respectful they were when she was working with them at the storage facility. When all was said and done, the job was finished in about 4.5 hours and our final bill came in under $1100. In the entire process of shopping and buying a building lot, screening and hiring a builder, delay after delay from the subcontractors (plumber, HVAC, framers, etc.), nothing was done on any promised date and several items ran over budget. My wife and I joke that of everything it took to get into this new house, the only item that was done on the promised date and actually came in UNDER budget... was our move with Two Men and a Truck !

The Driver's are great; the staff are nice but may need more training.

We had 3 young men move us yesterday and it was truly the best experience. We have had a lot of stress related to our move and they really saved us. They were exactly on time and so kind to us. We told them exactly what we needed packed and moved and they got right to work. They were extremely efficient, careful with all of our belongings and got our move done so quickly. I am so glad we decided to use them and they were extremely reasonable. I would pay it again in a heartbeat to make it so easy. I will recommend them to everyone I know for a move!!!!
