U-Pack

This is the fourth time I have used ABF. They are exceptional. Every person I talked to through the process was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Every step was as explained and expected. The convenience of being able to use a little less or more footage than you estimate is wonderful and removes the stress of 'can we fit everything.' Leaving the driving to professionals is worth every penny.

Start to finish this was an easy and cost effective method. Not necessarily the cheapest but for a cross country move it beats doing it yourself. The quote process is easy but each hub operates differently and scheduling isn’t as clear as it could be, knowing to call for specifics or plan to be contacted is not clear. Customer service is great and responsive. I will say the people we hired to pack did not understand how to load a trailer this large and WASTED a ton of space. If you plan to pack your self read the tips and watch the videos.

For the first time in my many life moves, I chose not to rent a truck. Initially, I was not familiar with the services UPack provided, but I took the plunge and boy am I glad I did. Every single person I talked to was helpful, professional, and patient. That's rare in any company. The service is well-designed to accommodate many circumstances, with ample time allotted for packing and unpacking the ReLo Cubes. I was a little concerned that they would not want to deliver the Cubes to my house and drop them on my front yard which is hard-packed gravel. But my worries were for naught. The Cubes came on time and they put them exactly where I needed them. I was able to start off on my trip, knowing that I did not need to be there for the Cubes to be picked up. When I arrived at my destination, I waited to be contacted, and my Cubes came in earlier than expected. Note: I would recommend to anyone who is planning to have your Cubes delivered to a storage unit, to make sure that facility allows for the Cubes to be dropped off while you unload. Usually the Cubes are picked up the next business day, but I was lucky enough to deal with Matt and Karen in the Colorado Springs service center and they made arrangements to have them picked up on the same day they were delivered. Kudos and thanks to them. All in all, it was a great decision to use UPack because I did not have to drive a truck across the frozen tundra of Wyoming and Utah, and I estimate I saved over$2200 versus the rental of a truck with all the added insurance, gas, grief, etc. Great service.

Good price if you need the whole truck. 28 feet. $5000, Then had to pay $3000 for only 8 feet use of the truck. Not a fair ratio.
