Uncle Sams Moving Corps

The crew from Uncle Sam’s Moving Corp moved me 1.5 weeks ago. Some of my furniture and framed pictures were damaged. The damage was immediately brought to the attention of the crew and one of the movers called Mike (Michael) Smith to let him know about the damage. I sent Mike a text within 48 hours of my move, following his contract and notifying him in writing of the damage. Since then, Mike has come down with every illness and claimed his wife had to have surgery to avoid my phone calls and text messages. Do NOT use this moving company, even if you are moving across town. At the end of the day, his employees were rude and said that my furniture was damaged because it was cheap. You cannot trust anything Mike Smith says, even if it is written in a contract. If his lips are moving, he is lying. So much for honesty.

Stay Away!!!!!! Are there 0 Stars? This guy is full of excuses. Thank God i have a contract signed. i've got plenty of documentation. court may be next. cost my family to hire emergency movers because he didnt show. said he had the flu. however never got my deposit back. This guy is a scammer. You get what you pay for. Hire the first responders around here to move you. they are honest and care about you, this guy says he does, but he is full of it! I am an easy guy to get along with, i understand things come up, but blocking my number pushed me over the edge

Took 10 hours to do a 6 hour job and left an entire attic, my TV, and many other items. Their truck was so small that they had to make at least 6 trips to the storage unit, and they stopped for cigarette breaks constantly. I ended up having to rent a uhaul myself to finish the job with my husband and 4 year old. We stayed up moving until 6:00 the next morning and didn't get home until 8:00 am. I almost fell asleep behind the wheel many times and had to slap myself and drink Red Bull to stay awake. Even after all of that, I ended up having to leave behind more than half of my attic, including sentimental items from my deceased grandmother. They did offer to come back the following day, but I had let them know ahead of time that I had to be out of the house by midnight. I had tried to schedule the move for a few days earlier just in case, but he insisted on scheduling it the day before I had to be out. Of course they still charged full price. I will also add that before they accepted the job, they came and looked through my entire house, so the amount of stuff to move was already known and agreed upon. I will NEVER use this company again or recommend them to anyone.
