Union Transfer & Storage Company, Inc.

We originally chose Union Transfer because they are the sister company of the local GoMini franchise (whom we are also using). VERY glad we did! Communication as the move date approached was excellent and we always knew who to contact if there were questions or concerns. Jeremy did a great job estimating our belongings for the move and set up the move date and put us in contact with Diane who coordinated some boxes for us. On move in day, Justin, Elijah, Johnny, Jordan and Caleb were the muscle; but so much more! Responsible, alert, considerate, polite and strong! The first day was a very long day and the fatigue began to show a bit at the end, but they were unfailingly responsive to requests and with the great care they took with our furniture and boxes. They disassembled our two beds and re-assembled them at the new house; they moved my 48" 8 harness Macomber loom from the 2d floor of the old house to my new studio without breaking a sweat (and those things are heavy!) Day 2 was a bit lighter, but the same care was evident. We had a chance to fine-tune furniture placement and they helped with application of protective foot pads on furniture (new wood floors!) to lessen the chance of future scratches. We still have my husband's metal workshop to move and we plan to use these folks again because we know they will provide careful moving of our possessions. I unreservedly recommend these guys!
