I recently had a local move, and Rudy and his crew were amazing. This was the first time I have used professional movers, and Rudy and the other movers made it a fantastic experience. Moving is stressful, but they were able to take away the vast majority of the stress. I would recommend Vanguard to anyone.

This is a review for my past 2 moves with vanguard and they gave me Saad and Rudy as my movers . Saad and Rudy are great guys and good hearted people who are courteous, professional, quick, and efficient. I can't say enough about how they have made my move seamless by protecting my stuff while moving and they do the job quickly. They are also very reasonable with their prices . Well worth the quality of work that they do!

We had an amazing experience with Vanguard Moving. We are in the process of moving across the country from Virginia to California and had a five bedroom house to move. We researched several moving companies, but in the end, Vanguard beat out everyone else due to customer service and actually caring about our stuff. Bauer came to our house and did a walk through, then gave us a not to exceed price. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, answered my million questions, and was always responsive. Our move took two days and all the guys that came out to pack our house did an amazing job. They wrapped everything with care, took their time, and pointed out pre-existing scratches and damage. On move day, Bauer was there and did a very thorough inventory, and really walked through every piece of the contract. They stuck to their word and even though our furniture took up more space on the truck than anticipated, we only paid the agreed upon not to exceed price. The value for what we got and the care they took with our furniture and every single light and dish was well worth the money. They offered a month of free storage as well. They wrapped everything meticulously and loaded the trucks with care. The owner even came and checked in with us at 11 pm as the guys were wrapping up. They have been very honest and trustworthy. There are no added fees and I really feel like Bauer and the company went above and beyond in every aspect of the process. I can't say enough good things about the customer service we have experienced so far. We are waiting for everything to actually be moved from storage to our new place in California, so I will update this review then. So far, this process, Bauer and his guys, and this company has far exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them!

I have moved all over this country, with several different companies, and I can honestly say, that VanGuard has been the best company that I have ever moved with. From the very start of the “Move Planning Process” in securing an estimate, all the way until our belongings were dropped off at our new location, moving with Bauer and VanGuard was a first-class experience. Bauer constantly was in communication regarding the details, price, dates, and any other nuance that arose. He responded to texts quickly, and made himself free for a phone conversation when needed. On top of that, the movers that assisted Bauer, were nothing but polite, professional, and extremely careful with our items. Lastly, the price that VanGuard guaranteed was spot on. Compared to what other moving companies wanted to charge, it wasn’t even close. I am beyond thankful that we chose Bauer and VanGuard as our movers out of the DC area. Without a doubt, I would recommend working with him, and his crew again. I truly could not ask for a better moving experience.

Highly recommend, don’t hire anyone else! We were in a pinch and Vanguard Express came through for us the same day we called. Exceptional service for a large, interstate move. Pricing that can’t be beat. Customer service is friendly and professional. They know what they’re doing so you can relax. They don’t only focus on the inventory, they also focus on you as a human and the stress a move takes on you. Would definitely hire again if needed!
