Whidbey Moving & Storage

I'm not sure what happened to John (the last owner) but this place has since gone DOWN HILL fast! They use to be so customer service oriented...NO LONGER! I scheduled a move 2.5 weeks before the date and the day before they BAILED ON ME! No show... no call... no explanation... no NOTHING! I should have gone with my instincts when I could never get a hold of anyone and no calls were returned. I called numerous times never getting anyone and when I did talk to (Demitri) sp?, he said they would call me back and NEVER DID! They screwed us BIG TIME! Just hours before our move and they disappear (our mover was supposed to be Brian...but he does NOT return calls!)! Thank god for craigslist and people that actually return phone calls! When John was owner I used this company for ALL of our moves including business moves. I thought going back would be a life saver again.... no way! I will tell EVERYONE to NEVER use this company. They won't last long.... I guarantee it! If I could give less than 1 star, I would. They don't even deserve that. Thank god I didn't pay anything up front.... I'd never see my money again! RUN!!!!

Matthew Freeborn (or whoever I spoke to claiming to be the owner) informed me that “he started this business and that he can do whatever he wants to” when I asked him why he couldn’t call me back after multiple attempts to finalize a move. If you’re looking for a company that cares about your move you’re looking at the WRONG company. This guy thinks he’s doing everyone a favor.

I have used WSM twice within the past 14 months. Both experiences were great. Very impressed with the storage and how they carefully packed the containers. In both experiences the moves were well organized and quickly executed. Pricing is reasonable and fair.
