Williams Moving Company, Dexter MO

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY I REPEAT !!!! The lack of communication is terrible. I was told twice that the dispatcher will give me a call back and never did . Unless you call them you will never know anything. They failed to pack my goods on time and HHG was not delivered on time and telling me I have to wait 5 more days like I sit at home all day. What makes me mad is ...if I never called I would have never known anything ...

I would recommend this company...only if you want a bad experience. My house hold goods arrived as follows: 1 dresser broken (like the only thing holding it together was the plastic wrap that was placed on there by the movers at some point in transit), 2 other dressers with support braces broken off to partially broken, BOSE Subwoofer no longer functioning, torn furniture (especially the bottoms of the couches), and many other things either completely broken , dented, or scratched. Amongst the items listed their claims department would not cover the BOSE, dressers, and other items. This was unbelievably frustrating despite proof that they were responsible. DO...NOT...CHOOSE...THEM!

Had 1 item identified by the driver at delivery. Washer and dryer were identified as damaged when we tried to use them. Had to pay out of pocket for a tech to evaluate (reimbursement check supposedly in the mail). Denied claims for all 3 items basically blaming it on me and inherent characteristics of an item being shipped. Told me that the washer and dryer had “pre-existing damages”. Also it was noted that I prepped them for shipping. When the movers were ready to pick up machines, I followed all of their instructions. Pick up was also an adventure. After the driver got into a shouting match with my neighbor, some of the crew showed up late and hungover. Will never use this company again. Will take further action.
